We received a gift certificate and thought as we were in the area we would finally try it out! Best decision EVER!! The table side guacamole was so fun and delish. Our server Ammanda was just completely lovely and her recommendations were spot on. Thank you for your time Ammanda, we will return to town very soon! YUM!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Añejo Restaurant twice this month, and both experiences were absolutely amazing!We started with the table-side guacamole, which was fresh, flavorful, and made to perfection right in front of us. It set a fantastic tone for the meal!For the main course, we tried the queso fundido and the tacos veganos. Both dishes were incredibly delicious—rich in flavor and beautifully presented. The cheese in the queso fundido was creamy and satisfying, while the tacos veganos were a delightful combination of textures and tastes that left us wanting more.Overall, the ambiance was inviting, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. I highly recommend Añejo for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

I will say it’s one of the best Mexican restaurants in Calgary. If you’re not sure what to eat, just try the six tacos, one of each flavor—you’ll love them.The decor style really caught my eye—it blends sophistication with traditional Mexican elements. Plus, the deep house music playing inside, makes the vibe so unique and enjoyable.

Food was alright, not worth the price or the atmosphere. Food trucks offer the same if not better food. The service I wish I could give 0 stars on. Our waitress was rude and didn’t care. It took an hour and a half for us to get appetizers, over 2 hours before we can get a taco… A TACO! The server legit told us we couldn’t order food until she was done taking our appetizers orders which was like forcing us to get appetizers. She never asked us once how the food was, or asked to refill drinks or anything. Terrible service. Didn’t even empty the table once and still have so many dishes and drinks and old food piled up… disappointed. The wife and I went there in Canada Day for lunch as we have not been there in years. We were not disappointed as the food and drinks were awesome. The staff were fantastic, stop in as everything is great.

One of the best restaurants we visited in our 3 week trip to Canada. Must try the salsa made at your table. Wonderful! We will be copying this to entertain friends! Such a refreshing charge from standard ‘Tex-Mex’. A must visit!
