Minas is an awesome Brazilian steakhouse, and been to many around the world, including the famous ones such as Fogo and others in New York, where I live.It is small, but packed with all the meat you seek when you go to a Brazilian steakhouse. The service is extremely good, in what feels like a family run establishment. You therefore get a good amount of personal attention and you don’t get lost in a big crowd as you might in a larger restaurant.It may not have Fogo’s renowned salad bar, but there is plenty there that you could pretty much make a meal from. My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The food was excellent, the ambiance was great, and the service was friendly and professional. We truly enjoyed our visit and will definitely come back.The only small issue we experienced was with the grilled pineapple service. We requested it and had to wait approximately 10–15 minutes before it arrived. It wasn’t a major problem, but it would be great if this could be improved in the future.Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience and appreciate the hard work of the team. Thank you!

For the price, I think this is the best value Brazilian steakhouse I have ever visited outside of Brazil. The lunch special is amazing, especially with selected drinks half off.It's not the best rodizio in the world but for the price especially in North America, it's great. The drinks were served in premium branded glassware. The meat quality is okay, but the cooking technique kind of makes up for it. But again, for the price; it's a steal.There is a small gift shop / take out area at entrance with a variety of Brazilian goods. I just came back from Sao Paulo & Rio and this spot made me feel like I was almost back in Brazil. Highly recommended, 4 stars overall but 5 stars given the value.

We made a dinner reservation at Minas Brazilian Steakhouse to celebrate my wife’s birthday 🎉🥂The staff were very sweet and welcoming, and overall everything went well. The service was a little slower compared to our previous visit, but it didn’t affect our overall experience too much. I had mentioned in the reservation notes that we were coming for my wife’s birthday, so at first I thought it might have been forgotten. However, when we asked for the check, they kindly asked us to choose a dessert 🍰They brought out a special birthday cake for her and celebrated with us, which was such a thoughtful and lovely gesture ❤️ It truly made our night extra special.We had a wonderful evening, and a special thank you to Davi for being so friendly and attentive throughout the night 😊👏Thank you fo

This restaurant was chosen from all the Brazilian steak houses in Calgary because my friend is Brazilian, and this one was the most authentic to what she was looking for. Although there was scaffolding around the building, there were quite a few tables taken for a Tuesday night. The great service started when we requested to be sat away from the windows and were quickly given a table that was perfect for us. The servers with meat were very attentive to our needs - even asking if we had gotten everything we wanted from the menu. The buffet was not only some amazing salads, but a great assortment of hot side dishes that included cassava and bean staples. Randomly, there was also sushi, but it looked very fresh and delicious. The meat was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and served continuously. The salad bar had a great variety and was very fresh.
