My wife and I have visited Satsuki twice over the past two months, and the quality has been consistently excellent both times. On our first visit, we had the Omakase. The variety and freshness of the fish were great.

First and for sure not last time here. The food experience is amazing. All the dishes are made with quality and fresh ingredients. It felt so authentic and the combination of flavors is so rich and enjoyable. Plus the service was just excellent. They really brought a small part of Japan to us 🇯🇵✨

I originally experienced Satsuki from the Chef May May at a private Tourism Calgary work function. I was blown away. I held onto her business card and not too long ago, I had the opportunity to swing by the brick and mortar location. Truly exceptional.

Excellent omakase menu. It included many dishes we had never tasted before. And the sake pairings included many different sake types and all were well matched with the food. Finally, it was nice to be served by the restaurant’s owner and to hear about the types of fish and seafood, as well as sakes.

We were wandering around Kensington and decided to eat and found this spot online. We weren’t sure what to expect, we honestly just wanted Japanese food. Customer service is AMAZING. Food? THE BEST! I personally had the gyudon and wow!!! It tasted soooo good! The best one i’ve had, closest one to the ones I’ve had in Japan.

Lunch at Satsuki is always enjoyable. The atmosphere is calming. There are enough staff to provide service to the guests, but it doesn’t feel crowded or rushed. The quality of food has kept up from when it first opened. The presentation is beautiful and appetizing.

Incredible Omakase experience! Chef May May was a delight, serving beautifully crafted dishes from start to finish. The fish was excellent, and the sake pairing offered rarely imported, perfectly matched sips to accompany the bites. I will undoubtedly be back!
