We were super excited to finally get a reservation at DOPO with our dear friends as we had all been big fans of DOP. It was pretty much as expected...great! It's a tiny place (NOT as tiny as DOP), packed and vibrant. We had a great table in the back out of the way. We ordered most of the menu....grilled bread, nduja spread (YUM!), whipped ricotta, white anchovy (extra YUM!), mussels, potatoes, soft (yet lightly crispy on the outside) pillowy clouds of love (gnocchi), rigatoni, roasted chicken (outstanding) and ribeye. It was really nice that the mains came with a little salad - we got our greens in. One of our friends is gluten intolerant as well as allergic to fin fish. I have a lot to say about this place. This was a really nice family restaurant. When we walked in, they were very friendly and nice to us. Had us seated in their heated outdoor section(it seems like an indoor room but it’s actually outside). The overall theme and vibe is super cozy and like a dark night. They refilled our water, switched out our plates, and were extremely enthusiastic seeming like they really loved working here. The food is also good. We ordered grilled bread, whipped ricotta, cozze(mussels in chili sauce), ravioli(running egg yolk inside), paccheri, and duck leg from the grill. Their Ravioli was extremely unique as well. My friend and I visited DOPO tonight, it was my first time since it became DOPO from DOP. From the moment we walked in, we were immediately greeted by the host. When we got to our table, our server Joe welcomed us and went over the menu with such passion and pride.With his recommendations, we were able to make great choices, and every dish we ordered was spot on. They changed our side plates with every new course, and every single staff member treated us as if we were guests in their own home. When I went to the washroom and came back, my napkin had been folded! Such a small detail, but it meant so much to me.I’ve never experienced this level of hospitality at a local restaurant. I thought this only happened at Michelin restaurants…? The food, service, and atmosphere were all spectacular.

Wonderful experience from the moment we walked in! Went to celebrate my birthday at Dopo with high expectations and it exceeded that. Best service I’ve received in a very long time; they truly make you feel welcome and treat you right.Everything we ate was phenomenal; already dreaming about ordering the grilled bread with ricotta and the raviolo again. Loved the wine selection too and a perfectly crafted dirty martini!! Just a perfect night and can’t wait to return!

Hands down this has been one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. Everything was immaculate.We were greeted by Anthony at the door and he set the stage for the entire night. Despite a mess up on our end with making the reservation, he was extremely kind and understanding about the whole thing and made sure we were able to get in. The interaction we had with Anthony was definitely one of our highlights of the night. The service throughout the meal was also great. All the food was romanced with genuine love and passion for the menu. DoPo was excellent! I can easily say it was the best Gnocchi I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious!

Great local-owned spot. Staff and food were equally great. Not just another chain, a real, unique, high-quality restaurant.

Been here a couple of times, always a good experience. Food tastes great, fast service. My husband and I sat at the bar the last time we dined here and had a few chats with our bartender/server, Christian. Friendly staff! Will be back.
