I genuinely love this place. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made with care. You can tell the people here take pride in what they do. Everything I have tried has been consistently good, and the quality never disappoints.

Easily easily the best shawarma/donair spot in calgary10/10 from service to portions to food. I ask for extra sweet an extra hot it’s done with love. The meat portions are to more then amazing.

The Chick Pea brings the authentic taste of the Middle East to Calgary. Both the beef donair and chicken shawarma are excellent.

Had a pretty decent meal. Food was tasty and plentiful for the price. Although I think the "garlic" sauce was more donair sweet than garlicky. But it was a great lunch option for us while visint downtown Calgary. Staff were in the middle of a large delivery order but were very friendly and quick to serve us.

The Chic Pea has been a downtown staple for many years , the food is absolutely amazing for a great price . I have been supporting this downtown GEM for many years and have had the opportunity to getting to know the amazing staff who go above and beyond to provide amazing customer service which has earned my loyalty....keep it up in these challenging times .

Had the mixed beef and chicken wrap for lunch and found it to have amazing flavor for the $10.xx paid. It was quite tasty and even though it is Halifax style in a pita (not with the saj cracker style thin bread found in some other more authentic places), it definitely hit the flavor spot.

When in the downtown core, its worth the walk to 8 ave to get the Beef Shwarma at Chick Pea. There will be line up at lunch but it goes fast. Lots of ingredients to choose from and the price is very reasonable.

Great food. Great and speedy service. Fresh ingredients, good value. The meat tasted amazing and the Donair had a good portion of beef in it.

Located in the west end of downtown Calgary (just down the street from the Ramada Hotel) this unassuming looking little restaurant is not what you could call glamorous but it's absolutely worth the walk. I work right across the street so it's a monthly trip for me. The falafel is my personal favorite but I've also had the beef donair and the chicken shawarma - all excellent.
