Came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and had a really memorable evening.The vibe felt similar to Nightingale, stylish and lively, but what really made it special was our upstairs corner table.It was quiet, private, and very intimate, which elevated the whole experience.Food was decent overall. Nothing extraordinary, but enjoyable. I had the duck cassoulet and my wife had the bouillabaisse.We arrived at 5:30pm to take advantage of happy hour, started with appetizers and drinks, then moved on to mains after 6pm.In the end, it wasn’t just the food but the atmosphere, seating, and service that made the night stand out.Highly recommend for an intimate dinner experience with someone special.

This was my fourth visit to Alouette Bistro, and it reminded me exactly why it’s become one of my favourite spots. The staff are always so warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. On my very first visit, they surprised me with three cocktails on the house, which honestly set the tone for how thoughtful their service is.This time, they gifted me a complimentary cocktail again, and it made the experience feel just as special as the first time. I tried the ratatouille and the baked brie, and both were amazing—the ratatouille was cozy and flavourful, and the baked brie was creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced.From the food to the atmosphere to the consistently incredible staff, Alouette always makes me feel taken care of. It’s the kind of place you keep coming back to.

Beautiful restaurant interior and the food is generous and flavorful. Great cocktail and wine menu. The downstairs area seems to be the busiest but there is plenty more seating upstairs and is a bit quieter up there too. The steak frites was very good and they cooked it exactly to my liking which I asked for rare.

I visited Alouette Bistro and tried the lamb steak and onion soup.The onion soup was flavorful and comforting, though the wine taste was a bit strong for my preference.The lamb steak was cooked well with a nice doneness, but the texture felt slightly tough. Despite that, the portion size was generous and satisfying.The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and enjoyable, making it a pleasant dining experience. Overall, I had a good time and enjoyed the meal.

We went here while visiting Vancouver for an anniversary dinner and had a fabulous meal, with exceptional service, and it felt like we could have been in France.

We were greeted with champagne, and every menu option was outstanding:) It was hard to decide AND the cocktail menu was superb. The Dine Out Vancouver menu was fantastic, we had beef tartare, wild boar, duck, chicken, chocolate mousse cake and a personalized birthday creme brulée. Many items were on the house and we've already booked to come back at the end of the month with our parents!

The ambience, food and service was excellent - highly recommend and we would return.

We deliberately chose an 11:30 am reservation so would take advantage of the weekend brunch menu. My cassoulet with crispy duck thigh and pork sausage was delicious and filling. My wife chose a classic "Le Burger" that was enormous: coupled with french fries, it was more than she could eat.
