This was my fourth visit to Alouette Bistro, and it reminded me exactly why it’s become one of my favourite spots. The staff are always so warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive.

We ended up at Alouette four mornings in a row… which tells you everything you need to know.

We went here while visiting Vancouver for an anniversary dinner and had a fabulous meal, with exceptional service, and it felt like we could have been in France.

We were greeted with champagne, and every menu option was outstanding:) It was hard to decide AND the cocktail menu was superb. The Dine Out Vancouver menu was fantastic, we had beef tartare, wild boar, duck, chicken, chocolate mousse cake and a personalized birthday creme brulée. Many items were on the house and we've already booked to come back at the end of the month with our parents!

The ambience, food and service was excellent - highly recommend and we would return.

We deliberately chose an 11:30 am reservation so would take advantage of the weekend brunch menu. My cassoulet with crispy duck thigh and pork sausage was delicious and filling. My wife chose a classic "Le Burger" that was enormous: coupled with french fries, it was more than she could eat.
