When it comes to comfort food, this is my go-to lunch place in downtown. My personal favourite is their Pan Seared Arctic Char, which you will find in their regular menu. Their Daily Feature menu were also amazing. Make sure to have room for dessert as their maple cheesecake and lemon tarts are to die for.

Tried the Tastemarket for the very first time and was impressed! Ordered the Arctic char and butternut squash soup and everything was perfect. Wait time was pretty good and there was enough seating. If you want a five star michelin meal for a fraction of the price, then this is your place.

I love this place for lunch. The staff are always very accommodating, friendly, and quick. There's something for everyone, including dessert, and the specials are always great. It's a great spot for a quick eat or a longer conversation. Restaurant is always kept clean. The staff really care about the quality of the food and good customer service.

We tried SAIT's Tastemarket for breakfast recently and I have to say we were impressed. The location is bright and open and you can see students working in the open kitchens in the area. We opted for the sausage rolls and they were delicious. They were not warm and the counter lady didn't ask if we wanted them warmed up. We didn't see any where to do it. We should have asked, but that was pretty much our only criticism.

I had the Eggplant Parmesan Deep Dish Pizza for lunch ($7 for a hefty slice) and it was amazing! Well seasoned with herbs and spices and nicely balanced with beef and soft eggplant and cheese.

It is a bit cafeteria-like, but the staff is friendly an efficient and there is a wide variety of selections. And everything is well seasoned and largely portioned. Great charcuterie and lovely salads.

Well planned and well organized. Student driven to develop culinary expertise. Variety of stations providing pastas-pizza-specials-sandwiches and delicious desserts.

I was impressed by the range of the different food "stations" - ranging from sandwiches and charcuterie to flatbreads to the bakery (with great-looking desserts) and rice bowls and salads.

Food was terrific and reasonable prices with lots of selection and good daily picks. This is a super spot in downtown Calgary to meet for good food.
