Food was fantastic sushi rice was perfect not too much mirin or too little in the rice. Fish was fresh, fresher than expected. Will come back for the expensive cuts. Justin provided excellent service and was very attentive through the night. I would take my mother to this place. 10/10

We had an amazing experience at Sukiyaki House. We ordered the chicken karaage, which was perfectly crispy and had a delicious sauce. The gyoza were packed with flavor, and the sauce added a great spicy kick. The spicy shrimp was incredible, somehow crispy and creamy at the same time. The yakitori had a wonderful smoky flavor that made it a standout.

What kind of a magical place is this? Every single item we ordered was outstanding. And the cocktails? Please, somebody stop me from ordering a fourth drink! Simply fantastic! And this is coming from someone who isn’t a fan of sweet drinks. Every one of them was perfectly balanced and truly unique.

Bar far the best sushi spot in YYC. The staff was exceptionally engaged and tentative. Such a great family owned and operated business. They have accommodated my young family many times, made origami out of oranges for the kids, even carried our infant around so we could enjoy the amazing sushi. Amazing staff, environment, and the best sushi this side of Tokyo. If you don't go your life is incomplete.

We always enjoy Japanese food and the Sukiyaki House didn’t disappoint. Best gyoza we’ve ever had. They are handmade by the restaurant and are full of filling and flavour. We had Nigiri Dinner and Mixed Tempura. Both meals were delicious. The tempura was perfectly lightly battered and contained prawns, carrots, beans, asparagus, enoki mushrooms and more, served with matcha salt - absolutely fabulous.

Great sushi ! Choose the spicy tuna ( Big Rolls ) so tasty. Very friendly staff and nice clean bathrooms.

Had supper here on a Friday night. Excellent service and food. Our server had excellent knowledge of the wine list, and made excellent suggestions. Food arrived very quickly, and every dish was delicious. Highly recommended.

We had a truly fantastic dinner, enjoying sukiyaki, yakitori chicken, tempura and more. The desserts were a class on their own. Service was great as well. In fact we were so happy that we decided to have dinner here again the next day. And again it was outstanding. Highly recommandend for sure!
