Another place that deserves more than 5 star rating. From beginning to end, from starters to desserts everything was exceptionally good. You must order Caesar as drink as well as Caesar salad here which they are famous for. They prepare the dressing in front of you from scratch which was a great experience.I ordered steak sandwich which was delicious and enough for a lunch. Caesar salad was very filling anyway.Our server was also very professional but I forgot his name. Thank you for everything!

We visited on Valentine’s night and, despite having a reservation, waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Our waiter was lovely and attentive, and we really appreciated the great service throughout the evening. The appetizers were decent but nothing particularly memorable. We ordered the rainbow carrots and blue cheese salad. The drinks were fine, though they weren’t presented in glassware that felt special or elevated. The main course, however, was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed both the ribeye and the New York steak — they were cooked beautifully and full of flavor. That said, for a restaurant at this level, I was expecting a bit more attention to detail. This place was amazing! I ate the best steak in Calgary. We did not have a reservation, but we able were able to get in. We did have to wait though but not very long. Once you get inside, it is elegant everywhere and just a very beautiful restaurant! The service was amazing. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. All our dishes were very tasty, except the fries/veg which we found to be very salty. The steak was the best and also this steak the waitress had to cook in front of us, by our table, which was really cool. It was like a little show! I would recommend ordering dishes that are cooked table-side, they somehow felt special. The cheesy bread was so good we couldn’t stop having it. It was scrumptious. I highly recommend this place! On Thursday evening, four of us went to Caesars downtown (4th Ave). Peter was our server, and all I can say it was an excellent evening. The drinks were delicious, as was the wine.We started with the table side Caesar salad for four., and he made it perfectly. We then had our mains, mine was the smaller ribeye which was cooked to perfection (medium rare) as were the rest. I opted for the rice pilaf, and my guests had the stuffed or twice baked potato. Either choice is a good one.We decided to get the table side (yes once again) cherries jubilee for dessert. Again outstanding. If you get table side dishes, please pay attention and show them how much you appreciate the skill in making these dishes. Have your camera ready as the Flambe lasts only a couple of seconds.The atmosphere and service

We had the best experience for my son's 18th birthday. Sergei, our waiter, was so kind and attentive. He brought an extra salad bowl for my mom to have a petit portion of salad to try when the other 3 of us ordered it. The tableside Caesar salad was light and flavorful. Our party had Steak Diane, steak and lobster, filet mignon with mushrooms, and the smoked salmon appetizer as a main. All were cooked to perfection. The steak Diane flambe was a highlight. We were too full for dessert, but shared a complimentary birthday treat. As special a place as I remember from decades past!

We got seated immediately along the wall up the stairs, great seating away from folks for two people. Service was incredibly friendly, especially our waitress. I got the filet mignon with wild rice and baked potato and my husband got the rib eye.

This is a place that goes back to the 1970s... In the heart of Calgary, lost in time, preserved and doing just fine. Old and dated interior, tons of staff, over the top polite service...loved it all !!
