We ordered the oysters, calamari fricassee, beef tartare, tomato spaghetti, the Floating Stone 18oz ribeye, and the Model Milk apple pie. Every dish was outstanding, with rustic, comforting flavors that really stood out.

Atmosphere lively but not too loud even with the open kitchen. Service top notch! The servers recs were excellent! PEI oysters fresh, perfect, the must try is their Calamari not your typical fried, this was like a pasta in a tomato sauce, a small kick of spice, but a unique balance, best dish on their menu!

Update: May 2026Came back for another visit and wanted to share my thoughts on the food and overall experience this time around.We tried three appetizers, and the standout was definitely the Warm Potato Buns glazed with honey, served with whipped butter on the side — absolutely delicious and comforting.

Excellent server and fantastic food!

Our glasses were never empty, service was amazing, staff were super friendly and the food, the glorious food!! 10 out of 10 experience!!

Model Milk is under appreciated; it has been one of Calgary's best restaurants for as long as I can remember. The dishes are original and delicious.
