We’ve been coming to Maven from time to time, and it remains our favorite brunch spot in Calgary. What keeps us coming back is how unique the menu is compared to other brunch places. There are always creative and interesting dishes to try, which makes every visit feel a little different.The food is consistently excellent, the staff id always friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between lively and comfortable. One thing we really appreciate is that the menu evolves regularly, so there’s always something new to discover. I had a wonderful experience here. The food is amazing especially the mango pandan panna cotta. The atmosphere was really nice, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Everyone was so friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. You can really tell they care about their customers. Definitely one of the places I’d love to come back to again. Highly recommend!

If I could give a 4.5/5, I would, purely due to the high price point and a couple of food hiccups. Overall, Maven is a gorgeous boutique spot with a highly creative menu that stands out from your average Calgary brunch, but it definitely has its flaws.🍽️Our Order & Exact Pricing:🌟Singapore Porridge / Congee ($16.50): Incredibly comforting, smooth, and full of authentic flavor. A must-order if you want a savory, warm start to your morning.✅Crab Fried Rice ($23.00): This dish was a disappointment for the price. It is quite expensive, and honestly, I couldn't taste much crab in it at all. They really seem to skimp on the seafood here.🩷Mexican Style Birria de Res ($24.50): The slow-simmered beef was wonderfully tender, and the rich hollandaise paired beautifully with the cheese-crusted base

Been to Maven a few times!The food is always delicious and the attention to detail is there. I loved the mix of cuisines and the execution is well done.I had the Carolina's daughter toast, and shared a bannock with my friend! I highly recommend the bannock, it's perfectly fluffy, and the whipped dip with the jam is incredible.The Carolina's daughter toast was saltier than I thought it would be and it benefited from some extra jam for me but it was still delicious. My friend had the breakfast pasta which is a Shakshuka pasta, and that too was yummy (I had a bite). The pasta was nicely al dente and a great savory option. I can also speak highly about their eggs benedict! I recommend the candied bacon.

Been here twice now for brunch. The first time was super good, but the second time was pretty disappointing.This time we ordered:- birrria eggs Benny- spicy crab toast- birria hash- fry bread- hot chocolate fest hot chocolateThe eggs benny was good but salty.The crab toast.. was really salty and not great overall.The birria hash wasn’t bad, but a pretty small portion for the price.The hot chocolate was really good, but it came room temperature.Overall it was okay and the service was pretty slow. However, shoutout to the hostess working on Feb 21- she was so so so friendly!

Maven is a gorgeous boutique spot with a highly creative menu that stands out from your average Calgary brunch. The Space: The restaurant is stunningly beautiful, bright, and decorated with tons of greenery (they actually sell plants inside the shop!).

Absolutely outstanding. If you're looking for a brunch spot, this place should be on your list! The staff are phenomenal, the atmosphere is cosy while still feeling spacious! We've been to maven twice now the food has not disappointed yet! Very unique fusion dishes that are not offered anywhere else. Service is always quick and the staff friendly. And the plants! Love the cozy interior of this place!

Service was amazing! The new menu is delicious - I loved the corned beef Pan de Sal breakfast sandwich - the Pan de Sal was fluffy and warm, and the corned beef was so tender. Panna cotta is one of my favourite desserts so I'm happy to still see it on the menu.

Five stars for brunch. If you are heading back from a holiday in Banff, you should treat yourself and go to this Gem in Calgary. Unique style as the plates were decorative, cute small garden out front, and quaint small brunch spot. Service was good and received great recommendations on the menu.

The food was plentiful and super delicious! The service was impeccable from first arrival to end of meal. The staff were amazing and kudos to them all. Ambiance was great with the displays of plants and use of vintage plates. I would highly recommend using the "wait list" option. Worth it!
