The BBQ turkey and brisket were both delicious, tender, and full of flavor. We sat out on the patio, which was perfect on a nice day, and I love that they’re dog friendly.

The patio vibe is better at South Block compared to Hayden Block. Three of us shared the brisket, pork belly, deep fried pickles, beans and broccoli salad with individual corn breads.

My partner and I ordered the brisket.. so tender and juicy! My partner ordered the dill pickle potato salad, said it was really good and great portion size, I had the spicy fries and it they a nice crispy and lots of flavour. We also decided to try the fried pickles, probably the best I’ve had in a really long time, stayed crispy (didn’t get soggy) and flavourful!

I give kudos to Canadian food chains but this place offers great protein options without the massive carb overload. The lagers were great, and the food was incredible.

Waitress was so helpful with beer and food recommendations. I enjoyed the cherry sour beer- it was refreshing and the food was great. Really enjoyed the pork belly - but the corn was awesome too.
