Awe man, nice place near the beach. Everything was perfect. The Shipwreck Ceasar was fun.I definitely reccomend the smash burger. Get a seat to enjoy the sunset! We had a table of 8 and our server accommodated us no problem, what a treat. Vancouvers finest across from English Bay and right on Dennan St!

First time at Hook and it was fantastic! We tried the cod burger and the ahi tuna salad—both were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our server was friendly & genuinely helpful. She gave great recommendations, making our visit even better. The patio with sunset views made it the perfect spot for our first visit. This is a must-visit for anyone who loves seafood and great hospitality!

Happened to walk by this place on my evening walk. So glad I stopped. The calamari is out of this world. Loved the huge jalepenos!!! Also had the seafood linguini and 2 double tequilas. Service was quick. Prices were in line with the area. the bartender was working the crowd for the tips and put on a good show!

Fabulous place for dinner, specializing in seafood. We had several Happy Hour items and all were sooo flavourful! Started with BC oysters, plump and really fresh, then had fish tacos - wow, the mango salsa and light batter were just right. The 1/2 lb of chorizo mussels with garlic, shallots, white wine and cream were served with their fresh focaccia bread. Garlic Parmesan fries were a tasty accompaniment. We’ll be back!

Another restaurant that’s all about the view and location, Hook Seabar is a great summertime patio option, especially for Happy Hour. They used to have a few dedicated vegan options on the menu, but the last time I was there they’d switched things up and pretty much got rid of all of them, which was super disappointing.That said, the patio is amazing and absolutely where it’s at. It’s also one of the most dog-friendly spots in the city I’ve come across. Prices are reasonable, staff are awesome, and I really hope they bring back some vegan options soon. Just incredible. A must visit when in Vancouver. Service was amazing - many thanks to Theo whose recommendations were spot on and stories behind the food added such a personal touch to our experience. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was vibrant yet chill, looking out at the water and stunning sunset. Local oysters were outstanding. Ahi tuna salad delish; honey bourbon salmon with pistachio crust fantastic. And the cinnamon roll focaccia is a must.

Love Hook, been coming here for years! I’m digging the new revamp, the food is exceptional! Salmon burger, fish tacos, Ahi tuna are on point! The service staff is extreamly kind & courteous, Josh served us today, and Probably one of the best servers I have encountered - a true Professional and a gentleman! Bathrooms, and overall facilities are well kept, and in spotless condition ! Special thanks to the management for the birthday shot, And the candle on the cake! Extremely thoughtful staff, Incredible views of English Bay & the Palm Trees! Highly highly recommended!
