The restaurant's interior is very charming. I’m usually not a fan of oysters, but the small oysters (possibly raspberry?) were surprisingly delicious; they tasted almost like clams and didn’t have a fishy flavour. I would definitely order them again.The pasta and gnocchi were excellent. If you enjoy shrimp and salmon, you will love the lunch pasta and gnocchi menus, which are also reasonably priced.The waiter was very nice. Even though we were seated on the patio, he consistently kept my coffee and water glass filled.Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I will definitely go back for dinner sometime!

This is probably the only place I go to eat oysters. The sauce and pickles are delicious, I highly recommend it. The ribs are very tender and well-seasoned. The prices are reasonable and the service is very fast.

We dined in on a weekday evening for dinner for the YYC EXP Food & Drink Experience. The food was great and worth the set menu cost. I had the carpaccio for my starter and the sirloin for my main. I wish that the starter came with a few more pieces of bread, but it was well seasoned and tasted good. The sirloin was cooked to a perfect medium rare and with the sides made a good portion for dinner and I really enjoyed the mash. Dessert was a key lime pie type of dessert. The lime taste was very mild and I personally don't enjoy cakes in wine glasses, it made the crust very crumbly and not packed in, but I liked the whipped cream and raspberry coulis.Service was lovely and it was an older gentlemen we've had as a server before. What is going on with embarcadero lately??? I was passed by 5 staff without barely a word. Two of them said something after the second time passing me. The service wasn’t even like this a month ago. I understand being busy but to not even acknowledge someone standing there for a bit is a little lacking.Not to mention the dish I get is nowhere near the same quality or portion that it’s been for as long as I can remember. And then I come to the reviews to see two reviews of possible spoiled food.. it’s a bit disappointing considering the fact that with a tip one dish is close to $50.It’s a shame, really. I used to enjoy this establishment a lot.

The food was pretty good overall and we had no complaints there. Service was extremely slow, although our server did explain that they were short-staffed because a coworker didn’t show up, which we appreciated the honesty about. We were seated upstairs and it was unfortunately very hot and uncomfortable with little to no airflow.

Passing by when we spotted ‘oyster bar’ and thought we would just call in. We weren’t disappointed - they have a specialised menu that describe the various types and flavours of the oysters on offer. We sampled a couple of different types that were delicious. The service was excellent and there was an extensive wine menu to complement.

Been here twice and both time was great. I could see a large group being a bit of pain at this restaurant but that is purely speculation because I feel it is best for a more intimate, lounging experience. The oysters are always the star and are served with a variety of sauces.

Other than parking being an issue if you have after 6 pm reservations and no handicap parking spots, we found the restaurant clean, warm and cozy. The food was delicious and the service outstanding... you actually got service with recommendations and information on the food and wine.
