I love the sourdough bread in here. I tried an almond croissant and it was good. It was a bit hard and not as fluffy but still good. I got a Shakusha which was really good too. The tomatoes and onions were a bit big in the dish and the cilantro added a good flavor.The prices here are a bit high but the quality is there.

The quiche and vanilla bean latte were really good. Really enjoyed the cheese buns as well. Pistachio cookie was pretty good too not too sweet and good pistachio taste. Nice pit stop after a run by the river though it will for sure cancel out the calories burned 😉Lines to order and get food can get slow and seating is quite limited especially during busy hours.

Wow! I’ve been searching for a place that does a good, flaky, filled, almond croissant in the city, and I’ve found it.It’s a bit pricier than regular bakeries ($6.50 for one), but it’s soo worth it. The croissant was huge, had lots of filling, and was so flaky on the outside but fresh on the inside. It was everything I’d been craving.I also tried the Sticky Bun, and the tiramisu pastry, which were both great.The interior looked beautiful, although I did order for takeout so I could eat outside.Plus, this place is located right next to the Riverwalk pathway beside the Bow River, so you can enjoy a nice walk afterwards.I will definitely be back! Thank you!

Every year on my birthday my dad brings me to my favorite bakery. This bakery has the best cruffins, they are huge and stuffed with cream and jelly. All of their items are high quality and beautiful and the staff alway look happy to be there and are very friendly.

Absolutely loved all the delicious pastries here! Very Friendly staff as well. It's great that it shares the space with Phil & Sebastian so you can enjoy a latte while eating your breakfast! Highly recommend a visit!

I wish I could bring Sidewalk Citizen back home with me! We went here for my hubby's birthday brunch, and it was definitely a memory. The setup is very interesting, we ordered our coffee at the coffee counter first, and then went over to the bakery to order food.

My wife and I had been wanting to check this cafe out and today we trekked to Calgary with that in mind. Very comfortable setting and a wide array of fresh baked goods and small meals. My wife opted for the ham melt and it was very good.

Wonderful bakery right next to the Riverwalk in the East Village of Calgary. Great selectin of sweet and savoury treats. Phil and Sebastian coffee. If only they open a Sidewalk Citizen in Edmonton!

We love the food and vibe but also it’s location. We often take the kids and get $5 yummy toast with strawberry jam and then head to the water for a nice walk to the park close by.
