I’ve been coming to Trolley 5 a least once a week (if not more) since moving to Calgary in April 2021.I’ve never had a bad meal here. My most favourite meals are the chicken wings, dim-sum, poutine, and pizza. If I don’t know what to cook for dinner, I’ll often come to Trolley 5 for Happy Hour as the prices are similar to grocery store prepared meals. I also really love whatever the current “Mona’s Feature” (dessert) is. And “The Fog Horn” is my favourite brunch item.Trolley 5 is THE PLACE to watch sporting events, especially playoff games. Came here with a group to watch FIFA in the morning. Thankfully they were airing the game with full sound unlike some other places. Ordered drinks and a bunch of appetizers for the table. Sliders and fried pickles were amazing. Something about the pizza was off tho. We recently hosted my 80’s-themed birthday party here and I truly can’t say enough good things about the experience!From the very beginning, planning was incredibly easy. Ashley was amazing to work with, she responded quickly to all of my questions and made the entire process feel seamless and stress-free.The Taproom was the perfect space for our group of about 50 people. It felt spacious without losing that fun, lively atmosphere we were going for. They were very accommodating with everything we wanted to do, from setting up karaoke to bringing in my larger decorations.The food was absolutely delicious, especially the brisket sliders! It was our first time dining here and unfortunately, the service left a bad impression and we felt discriminated. We are the only asian among the customers, and the server seems so very nice with them but appears to be dismissive to us.We asked how the Wednesday wing special worked—whether it was counted per piece or by pound—but the explanation wasn’t clear. When we were asked to choose flavors, we clarified again because we only wanted to order 10 wings to try for first timers. The server mentioned there were 12 flavors, which led us to believe they could be mixed within our order. However, we were instead served 3 pounds of wings, each with a single flavor.We tried to clarify before the food is served so we can change or cancel because we cannot finish 3lbs chicken and so we can order s

Five stars across the board. Our waitress was very friendly and the service was quick. I ordered the pork dumplings and beef brisket. Soooooooo delicious. I told the waitress that the dumplings were the best I ever had, and come to find out, the GM’s parents makes them. Also, I raved about the horseradish and mustard sauces for the brisket, and I come to find out they makes the sauces in-house. Last, they brew all the beers themselves. Next time I visit Calgary, I’m coming back here to fill my belly!!

Excellent property, clean, good service , good food. They brew their own beer which was excellent. Bathrooms were clean.

Been going to Trolley 5 on and off for a while. Last night I popped in with some buddies-it had been a while since COVID......We slaughtered some wings and dumplings....(the dumplings are my fave). Great atmosphere and super attentive staff.

Sophie was a great server & kept our drinks topped up & the food was awesome. One gentleman was from out of town & really liked the beef brisket & would order that again.

We tied the knot at Trolley5 on August 10th, 2024. It was an unforgettable day! Ernie, Dustin, and the staff went above and beyond in ensuring everything ran seamlessly before, during, and after the wedding.
