I went here for breakfast. The reason I chose this place is because I was looking for something on the healthier side and I couldn’t find Benny cafés that did offer healthy breakfast options.I chose an egg on sourdough with avocado and it also had mushrooms and asparagus with it! Yum!I ordered a Soy milk latte as well.The server was extremely friendly and everybody that’s working in the kitchen is really working hard. It’s an open concept kitchen so you can see them at work and boy are they quick?Every person that I saw working there had a smile on they seem like such a lovely group.The coffee was delicious.The food was good. It’s been a while since I’ve had such a truly delicious meal. The flavors were simple, clean, and perfectly executed!For the Avo Mushroom Benny, the softly poached eggs, mushrooms, and sauce paired beautifully with just the right hint of butter. The Avo Classic Toast, a great simple breakfast option, featured their distinct sourdough which went perfectly with the sweet and tangy sauce.At first glance from the entrance, it might look like they are short on tables, but there is actually dine-in seating to the left, right, and straight ahead. Even visiting at 8:30 AM on Good Friday, the place was almost completely packed.While the interior isn't huge, it has a very cozy atmosphere that's perfect for a nice, intimate meal with friends.

I enjoy the cozey environment, and food is a perfect balance of unique tasteful originality and tasteful twists on classics. Their beverages are refreshing, as well as some aromatic depths. They do so well on both sweet and salty. The cafe itself is smaller but cozey. I love that they have a vertical platform lift for wheelchair and stroller accessibility. Good places I can go with my wheelchair user friends can be limited. The turning radius for a wheelchair can be narrow, but there are sections that a wheelchair can arrive at.

Finding this place highly recommended online, we popped in without a reservation and got an outdoor seating quickly. Lucky us as the waiting crowd grew massive in no time.No surprise at all considering the quality of this extremely delicious breakfast spread. Tastiest savory breakfast menu ever!Greatly presented and so clever in texture, memorable taste too.Must visit when in Calgary.Can you please open in Melbourne 😀

We came with expectation on food but turned out they were just so-so. I ordered a matcha pancake while my friend had the chicken waffle.To be fair, the matcha taste was genuine and I believe they used premium matcha powder as ingredient. That said, I really couldn’t give credit to the pancake texture. It was soggy……not those crispy-on-top and fluffy-inside type.The chicken waffle was a big disappointment as well compared to other Asian cafe we tried before. Honestly they couldn’t call it waffle as it was croffle, they simply made the croissant into the shape of waffle. What made it worst was the croffle was not fully baked….while the fried chicken was just meeting the standard.Although their coffee was good, the unfriendly and blunt service tone ruined our mood of the day.

Z Crew Cafe is a delightful find in Calgary, offering an atmosphere that instantly reminds me of the vibrant coffee culture in Melbourne, Australia. It's a rare gem that perfectly captures that unique energy, and I left thoroughly impressed. During my visit, I tried the Z Crew Silky Iced Coffee from their impressive coffee connoisseurs list, and it did not disappoint.

ZCREW is one of those places that checks off a lot of boxes for us: Healthy and delicious plant-based options, great coffee, hip yet welcoming (not pretentious) ambiance, great service...you get the idea!

Great Korean brunch spot! I had the chicken waffles which was ok (6/10) but the other items on their menu are supposed to be a lot better. My spouse had the bao bun burger which was also alright. The service was perfect - we were being checked on constantly and all the staff were very kind. Te place is located downtown and is quite small so I would recommend getting a reservation if you are planning on going here on a weekend!
