Finally got to try this place for YYC EXP. I wanted to try this place for so long but can never make it there during the weekdays 😭Their oysters were so fresh and the sauce just made it even better! Tuna tartare is also so fresh and tasty. Everything was perfect.The place was pretty quiet when I was there on a Friday evening but still cozy and lively enough. Would LOVE to come back again to try even though I can rarely make it to downtown during weekdays.

One of the most delicious sushi experiences I’ve had in Canada.Even though the restaurant itself isn’t fancy and feels quite simple, the atmosphere has a really nice, relaxed vibe. The staff are genuinely welcoming and the servers were super kind and attentive, which made the whole experience feel even better.But the highlight is definitely the sushi — absolutely outstanding. I tried three different items from the menu plus the happy hour oysters, and everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful.Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for high-quality sushi without the pretentious setting. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Spotted this place just walking around and it was a treat for a sushi, oyster lover. The oysters were fresh and such good value. The rolls were also excellent, especially the Dragon one. I’ll happily come here again.

For years, we've stayed away from downtown Calgary; however, we learned about Koto's happy hour and oyster deal so we thought, hey, let's give it a try. Parking has always been an issue, but past 6 pm, street parking was not a problem. Lots of tables. Great smiling staff. Quick service. Clean. And most of all, we're happy with the quality of the oysters and sashimi. We definitely would be back!

Went to Koto on Wednesday for my birthday. We had $1 oysters and a bunch of other rolls and snacks. Food was incredible as always. The highlight was our server Kailey. She was so accommodating and made sure we all felt welcome and had a great time. Can’t wait to go back again soon.
