We booked this restaurant for my wife's birthday/ our wedding anniversary and everything was incredible! The staff welcomed us, sat us and walked us through all the menus in a professional manner. They then brought us 2 cards to celebrate both occasions, a beautiful touch that builds that connection between us and the team.

I usually go here at least twice a year for the past 5 years and every time they do not disappoint. The service is always great and food on point. I generally like doing the afternoon tea which is definitely worth it but I’ve also gone for lunch and dinner many times and leave happy.

The food here is SO FANTASTIC. The highlight for me was the dessert, which I had three weeks ago and I still think about. Included a bunch of pictures of our food and some of the decor.

Had such a lovely experience at Deane House for high tea with friends. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Such a charming spot for a relaxing afternoon — we will definitely be back!

Edit: May 17th, 2026: My family and I came back from brunch. Tora was extremely attentive, we appreciated her friendliness. As for food, I had the trout eggs Benedict. There was a sweetness to it that I enjoyed. They were one of the best I’ve ever had.

A lovely experience from start to finish. Savory and sweet nibbles that showed a great deal of imagination. The garden, the patio umbrella, the antique china, and the tea were all charming. Staff were all friendly, informative, helpful, and professional. Twelve out of ten.

We had an excellent meal with out of town friends, choosing the Chef Tasting menu. Both the food and service were great. We did not feel at all rushed and the pace of the meal allowed us ample time to visit. The wine pairing option was great as well.

Loved celebrating our anniversary here!! It is a beautiful beautiful location and building. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We brought our 3 month old and we felt supported and celebrated in every way. It was incredibly memorable and we will celebrate here again!

The Deane House never disappoints. Every dish tasted incredibly fresh, with unique flavour combinations that felt thoughtful without being overwhelming. You can tell a lot of care goes into every plate - the ingredients shine, and everything is beautifully balanced and full of flavour. The zucchini fritters are SUPER yummy!
