Our story
At Saigon Maxim, we bring traditional Vietnamese recipes from Saigon to Calgary with a focus on premium ingredients, hand-selected herbs, and time-honored family recipes passed down through generations. We serve authentic pho, fresh spring rolls, Vietnamese sandwiches, broken rice dishes, and other classic dishes that reflect the flavors and culinary heritage of Vietnam.We welcome guests to dine in, take takeout, or enjoy delivery from our Calgary locations in Riverbend Centre and Mission. Our goal is to offer a warm, family-style experience where authentic Vietnamese cuisine feels like coming home.

Tony WAs it was a colder day, I wanted to have something warm like a Pho, and seeing what was nearby. I saw that this place was new in the area and it had some good reviews and wanted to give it a try. Glad I did.It was late in the afternoon and as I walked in, the staff was welcoming and friendly. The place was nicely designed and open, quiet and they sat me by the window.The menu by far is the best I have seen in a Vietnamese restaurant. It had lots of sections categorized so it was easy to understand the dishes and they had nice photos of some of them on each page and at the end, there is a index of more dishes to show what you can expect. It was a nice touch. They had all the typical Vietnamese dishes that you would expect and some other nice looking dishes. There were many I would have like
Diane CalgaryOrdered Satay Lobster Noodles M3. From my first bite of the rice noodle, I could tell this was not some usual deal. Perfectly cooked so there was a chewiness. Never knew rice noodles could taste this good. The broth came piping hot and stayed that way until the end. It was so delicious. And it is an amzydeal to get lobster at this price! We also ordered M7. The beef was tender and well spiced as were the chicken and shrimp. Then we envied the next table as they wrapped lettus around their crispy crepes and later thin vermicelli combo. We will definitely come back and also bring our friends here. (Sorry We forgot to take pictures because we couldn't wait to get into the dishes. )
Noha HerzawyWe had a Vietnamese pancake, beef satay soup, and lobster curry noodle soup. We felt that they had generous portions and the lobster tail was pretty big! Everything tasted great! Highly recommend!

I was introduced to Saigon Maxim five years ago and its probably my favourite cuisine & restaurant in all of Calgary. They are generally packed Monday to Friday over the lunch hour.

We have been coming to this restaurant for a few years now, and its probably my favorite for vietnamese food. The portions are huge for the price. I always have enough for lunch the next day.

Great takeaway. Honestly we have been to this restaurant numerous times as we live in the neighborhood. We are so lucky to have this gem close by. Reasonably priced. Good portions.
