Stumbled onto this place tonight since we were in the area and I couldn’t be happier! Attentive service, incredible food and such calm, clean atmosphere. My gf was celebrating her bday and ordered a miso soup, and beef gyoza. I had one and she had 3. Very juicy and flavourful.She had a yammy veggie and a rapture roll and I had assorted sushi, toro sashimi and bluefin negitoro. My fave was the scallop topped with truffle salt and I had to order a 2nd one. The unagi was perfect and the seared aburi tuna was gentle with a hint of smoke. The rice grains were perfect and not mushy or hard. Rice is difficult to get right. My gf loved her rolls and I had a taste from each as well.I almost didn’t post to keep this a well kept secret but also want this resto to succeed and show Calgary what it has

Very good price for the quality! Tried the unagi sushi and the poke bowl with spicy mayo sauce, and honestly, everything was so good! The unagi was packed with flavor and grilled perfectly, and the poke bowl was super fresh with huge cuts of fish and lots of great toppings.The place itself has a really cool vibe, too—love the modern look and the high ceilings. Def a very good spot, will absolutely be back!

Hands down one of the best sushi spots in Calgary — Sushi Sora never disappoints! 🍣 Everything was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Every roll was packed with flavor and the quality of the fish was outstanding.The restaurant has such a nice, cozy atmosphere and the service is always great. This has easily become my favorite sushi place in the city. If you love sushi, you have to try it — sooo good! Highly recommend.
