First time here at Aida’s Bistro. Welcoming staff who go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. We had our baby with us and they arranged the table just like we needed to fit both the stroller and the baby seat. When we informed them that we were here to break our fast they made sure to get our food at just the right time, it was even hot when it arrived showing that they did not make it in advance for that. Although the place was packed, our waitress was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Now to the food, this was some of the most authentic Lebanese food that I’ve had in a while. A favourite, since 2004. Truly gorgeous experiences, and truly delicious food. Everyone I’ve ever brought here, wants to come back within a week - and I understand why. When I lived abroad, this is the restaurant I always made time to eat in when I visited home. It’s not intimidating - it’s a graceful place, with vibrant food, and good people. It feels good, it eats good - it’s a must. It’s so good you’ll want to share it too. Go, go, enjoy!!

My husband reserved a seat for Valentine’s Day a month in advance, we were seated and then ignored for 20 minutes. Literally watching the table directly next to them be served, have 2 conversations with waitresses. The staff took time to look at their phone, clear tables, stand and chat at the bar and walk past us constantly. We were never approached for anything. They didn’t even say anything as we left to find better service. Will never go back there again. Absolutely horrible.

We've come to Aida's a number of times in the past, and had some great meals with some tasty food. We had booked in for Valentine's day this time and when we arrived, were promptly seated. Their dining room is a bit small, so we were very closely perpendicular to another couple, but, no problem. The issue arose when we sat at our table for 20 minutes, and were ignored. There was 2 waitstaff on, one of them had a long conversation with the couple we were seated next to, before heading back to the kitchen, to the bar, etc. Both waitstaff walked by our table multiple times, and we noticed them just kinda hanging out chatting together by the bar, as we waited and waited. After 20 minutes, we figured we'd try our luck elsewhere.Look, we could have flagged one of them down, and asked to be serve

Aida's has been a family favourite of ours for years and being of Lebanese heritage I appreciate the authenticity of flavours and fresh ingredients.We had the Veggie Platter ($45) with a side of Kibby ($12?) along with Arabic Coffee and their Iced Tea & Lemonade and everything was delicious and delighftul. What we ordered fed 3 of us comfortably for lunch and the Roobek (phyllo with feta & olives), Grape Leaves and Baba Ghanouj were absolutely great. For dessert we ordered the Burma to share which is the pistachio phylo nest and while it was tasty I'm not sure I'd order it again as it was a little tricky to eat and I like some of their other desserts more - worth a try if you like pistachios as there was a generous amount in it!The atmosphere is quiet and clean with a decent amount of spac
