Went for dinner for our first anniversary. The wait staff/hostess were top notch. We had "pick me up on 17th" and Lions, Tigers and Pears to start. Excellent cocktails. We ordered the Fondue for 2 (came with bread) and added on seasonal vegetables and chicken thighs as an add on. Quite filling. Had an other Lion, Tigers and Pears and Old Fashion with Pavlova for dessert (forgot to get a picture of dessert)Was a great experience at the Living Room. Very filling. Will come back next time we're in YYC.

Came here for the yyc experience.A little pricy, but decent quality food. Duck breast was a little chewy, sauce was good. Restaurant isn't too big, they have an extended area outside, there's heaters but it got s little chilly when the sun went down. Fois gras was very oily. Main course were small compared to other courses. Endive was flavorful and refreshing, the nuts added nice crunch.

Overall , I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant. While the food was not exceptional or mind-blowing, it was still tasty and well-prepared. The flavors were enjoyable, and everything was decent and satisfying, even if it didn’t stand out as something truly special.What really made this place lovely was the atmosphere. It was very cozy and warm, especially on a cold day. Sitting by the fireplace felt incredibly nice and created a calm, comfortable mood that made the visit much more enjoyable. An overall wonderful outing at The Living Room Restaurant to partake in their YYC Exp Gourmet menu. The dessert (Pavlova) was the only slight disappointment; we feel it could have been a more refined offering. The 5-course menu had a good variety of choices; overall, a very tasty, wonderfully presented, and fulfilling dining experience.

We hosted a beautiful birthday celebration for my niece at the Living Room last night.Upon arrival our table for 9 guests was beautifully prepared, setting the mood for what was a magical evening.We started with cheese and charcuterie boards. The accompaniments nearly stole the show. Fresh berries and fruits, even nuts and olives along with jams and honey. We followed with the fondue - it was outstanding. The drinks and mains were not over shadowed we loved every bite and sip.A big thank you to William and Bill for guiding us through a whimsical experience that will keep my family coming here for special events for years to come.

Had an outstanding dinner last night at The Living Room. Lee was our server and she was so expert - down to earth and warm but very professional. Classy!

So very glad we chose the Living Room. Our server Josh was amazing. He suggested the best three plates and an amazing wine . He was very attentive and knowledgeable.

It was an amazing experience. The service was top notch and the food was amazing. It was a very comfortable environment as well. The appetizers were delicious and the cheese fondue was second to none.

Long-standing dining spot with cool vibe in along 17th Ave. SW. They continually up their game and stay on top of all facets of the restaurant business. I highly recommend the salmon.

Absolutely fantastic. We were out for our 15th anniversary. Our server was welcoming, warm and efficient. Excellent selection of alcohol free cocktails. The food was some of the best we’ve had. We’re vegetarian and we were blown away by the burrata, eggplant parmigiana and truffle gnocchi.

Another amazing meal at the living room. From the oysters Rockefeller through the tasting menu and premium wine offerings, we left satiated and impressed!
