Incredible times at The Ironwood Stage and Grill! Such a wonderful Calgary music venue. A must visit for visitors and a must support and enjoy for locals. Pictures shown are from the Steve Fisher Fundraiser (eight hours of bluegrass and folk music!) on February 15th 2026. Bands shown: Smokin' Toad Revival, Turbo, Carolyn Harley Trio, Al Lamonaca MCing from 9th Ave All Stars, Lost Prospectors, Donna and Leroy Anderson, Dale Ulan and Jim McLennan. Amazing outpouring of support and friendship from the bluegrass and folk community for one of its own! It could only happen with such warmth, atmosphere, and professionalism at Patrick MacIntyre's Ironwood with it's wonderful staff team and excellent sound pro, Nate.

First time visiting the Ironwood.This venue has a really nice atmosphere. They offer table seating for the show. Giving everyone a great experience to see the artists perform.Reservations are highly recommended.The staff were very friendly and pleasant. The food was excellent. Prices were reasonable. I really enjoyed the show. I definitely would recommend this place if you enjoy live music.

The Ironwood is a good place to catch a show, but a consistently terrible place to get food and drinks.They pack people in like sardines, then staff only two or three people to serve the entire room, even on their busiest nights. On my most recent visit, it took 25 minutes just to get waters and a single glass of wine. Our food didn’t arrive until almost an hour and a half later, by which point the show was about 3/4 done.Unfortunately, the food is rarely worth the wait. Simple stuff like fries is fine, but anything more involved like pasta or sandwiches is usually underseasoned and overpriced. On my last visit, the only food available at 2pm on a Saturday was breakfast stuff like eggs benedict and French toast. When the food finally arrived, it was mostly grey, bland eggs with chunks of r

Since our first time, whenever we visit, we enjoy our time here. People (Guests)who come to have great time are respectful with others as well the management and the owner. One of the places we never hesitate to go usually on Christmas time as a family.Thank you Ironwood Stage :)

Absolutely pay your hard earned money to see a show if you want to experience it through the din and commotion of continued service through the entire concert while the artist is playing and other patrons treating the artist like it is a house band. Couldn't hear a thing. We won't be back for more music or to taste the Sysco food warmed up with AHS violations.

Awesome venue!! Good sound and food! The green salad with chicken was fantastic. So was the service! Especially for such a busy night. Would definitely come again for another show.
