DO NOT EAT HERE. I live 2 blocks away and I have been eating here for close to 15 years. It was my favorite shwarma place for thay long but it has got so bad that I need to tell people to stay away.Do not order online. They skimp on the size of orders, they will not get your order correct. We have given them the benefit of the doubt now for 10 incorrect online orders because we used to love the place, but they do not read instructions. Its so bad that we will order in person but the employees no longer speak English so the orders are wrong and you get half the meal you used to. Used to be the best shwarma in the city but it's garbage now.

I ordered online and it says buy one take one and when it arrived they only gave me one . Dont believe these ppl they be scamming yall and they charged so much for a very small serving its not worth the money. The food is decentbut id rather go to a diff one like shawarma palace way better and more servings more worth youre $ to spend than this store . Look at the photo i took it barely has meat on it and yall telling me its 24.99$? What a joke. Not worth it !

This is the second time I’ve ordered here online, I worked a 14 hour shift today and was excited to order from here…In both of my platters they forgot potato’s and only gave 2 tomato slices halves and lettuce for the mixed veggies ( if you go in, in person you can also get onion, turnips and pickles). It’s clear they don’t care about the quality because it’s a 2 for 1 deal and it’s delivery…This all happened both times I ordered from here, just because it’s delivery does not mean we should be leaving out items from the dish…Very disappointing because I always go in person but I don’t want to order from here anymore…Your paying almost 30$ just for items to be left out and this seems to be a recurring thing based on the reviews..Just take off the buy one get one free deal if it’s such a big

Amazing experience at Shawarma King in Kensington! The staff members were especially outstanding — very polite, respectful, and welcoming throughout the visit. They made sure everything was perfect and provided some of the best customer service I’ve experienced. Great food and an even better atmosphere because of the staff. Highly recommend!

Ordered from here for the first and last time. Ordered a beef donair plate and wings x2. Altho the rice and salad were tolerable the rest was not. The wings were fried beyond recognition. Meat fried right off the bone and whatever remained on the bone was 100% not edible. It was a cracker that required dental supervision. The potatoes in garlic sauce were laughable. Literally 2 potato chunks. That's crazy. Half assed thrown together with zero cares given. Was not about to call in and complain, we had a long day with plumbing issues in our kitchen so we decided to order. We had to eat. I guess they make their money off first timers with no clue of the quality. Best donair in Calgary! Such lovely staff, with amazing service! Highly recommend if you are visiting Calgary, or are a local! You gotta eat here!
