Had an amazing experience at Pulcinella! Went as a couple and the ambience was perfect — slightly old-school, but that’s exactly what gives it character and charm. The vintage vibe, especially the motorbike displayed inside, makes the place feel unique and interesting.

This place exceeded our expectations! Wonderful vibe and their service is very thoughtful so that you can just focus on having a good time. Great seating, attentive check-ins, and a good balance of professionalism and fun.

Strolled in on a Friday evening and was immediately greeted and seated promptly, making me feel welcomed into the busy environment. I sat at the bar and ordered some calamari, it had a nice blend of spice which really brought out the flavours of the dish, would recommend as a starter or to share.

Pucinella is easily my favourite restaurant in Calgary, and I keep finding excuses to come back. If you're looking for pizza that's as close to authentic Neapolitan as you'll get, this is the place. My usual order is the margherita pizza (make sure you ask for the fior di latte cheese—it makes all the difference), arancini, meatballs, calamari, and if you still have room somehow, finish with the Nutella pizza.

I am 50.years old have traveled around the globe. I have eaten in many restaurants in Italy and have been to Napoli and eaten the original pizza. This was a recommendation by a close friend and I can not be happier. The appetizer of bruschetta and calamari were fresh and light. The pizzas and ravioli were next level. Light fresh full of flavor and definitely hit the spot.

Pulcinella in Kensington is a great place for outstanding pizza and authentic Italian treats. Their pizzas are truly top-notch—crispy, flavorful, and just the way they should be. The ricotta cannoli are just as impressive: fresh, creamy, and always satisfying. An added delight is their charming shop stocked with Italian specialties—cheese, pasta, and more—making it impossible to leave empty-handed.

We go to Pulcinella fairly often and have never been disappointed. The staff is welcoming, accommodating and friendly. Our pizzas were awesome as usual! We chased them down with a cold beer but sometimes we choose wine from the great wine list. The restaurant has been beautifully renovated with new tables, chairs and recovered banquettes.

Our first experience in this fine Italian restaurant was quite enjoyable. The Portabella mushroom antipasti was excellent, so were the Cotto pizza and the Gnocchi! We concluded with an amazing Tiramisu and Cannoli. Only drawback, on a Friday, it was quite noisy - but that's to be expected of pretty much any popular restaurant!
