The sushi was fresh and the salmon nigiri was really good, soft and full of flavor. The sushi taco was honestly my favorite though, it was packed with filling and tasted super fresh. Tempura was crispy too and not too heavy. The restaurant was clean, quiet, and the staff were really friendly. Definitely would come back again.

It’s so consistent and flavourful and the sushi is so delicious.The staff is always incredibly friendly and attentive, even when they’re slammed.Dine in and takeout are both excellent quality.And free parking!!

Absolutely hands down one of the best Sushi Restaurants in Calgary. It's very conveniently located on 17th Ave with Free parking.The owner Daniel is an absolute sweetheart, he comes to each table and asks how your food was.Our favorite item on their menu is their Salmon Oshi and Salmon Tacos. We've tried almost all their signature dishes and all are fabulous.We've already been back like 4 times and will be back again next month.The Sushi is also gourmet and fresh. Definitely give it a try!!

the service was fast and the servers were accommodating - but nothing too special. The poke bowl was okay, the sauce and the flakes added all the flavor to the bowl. It’s a good place if you’re craving a quick sushi roll or poke bowl.

We had such an amazing experience here. Ordered some salmon sashimi, dynamite rolls, spicy salmon roll and crispy spicy salmon roll. Service was great, the food was fresh and they gave a generous amount of ginger and wasabi. After paying we were given some strawberry shortbread sticks for dessert which was a nice surprise.The parking next to the place is free too! Just ensure you register your plate inside.

10/10 First time experience at Wakuwaku Sushi. I had the pleasure of chatting with the owner Daniel during my visit on a few occasions. He took the time to explain his signature sushi taco, which took time and precision to create the crunchy bite of the light tempura seaweed shell / tortilla. I recommend you try the sushi taco in the many forms it can be ordered in as it was really worth it and you could line up 5 and eat them happily.

Amazing sushi place. Our new favorite in town! Great service. Portions are amazing. Very delicious. Vast variety. They have free parking (beside the building, only 1 hr free). We had: Gyoza, Shrimp tempura (THE BEST EVER), Sushi Tacos, Waku Signature, Volcano Roll and Dragon Roll.

Literally the best sushi I've ever had. The picture doesn't do it justice. The pieces are the perfect size. The flavour and quality is amazing. Would definitely order again and is for sure my new go to place for sushi and specifically this role. I've been eating sushi for a very, very long time and this is by far the best roll I've ever had in my entire life. I give it a rating of 15 out of 10.
