The food is very good. The oysters and halibut and chips were great with very good protions. My only concern was that in my opinion a 15$ chowder should come with some bread. The price for the other options are also what you would expect from a place in Granville island. The deserts were also tasty. Delicious, but pricey.

We visited at a time when there was no need to wait for a table, which was a nice bonus. We got a seat with a nice view of the marina, which we really enjoyed. The food was very delicious and the service was quick. The staff were friendly and welcoming.If you're looking for great seafood, I would definitely recommend this place.

Okay so we were really excited to try this restaurant unfortunately it fell short. Long wait times with okay service and okay food. Crab was old, steak was extremely fatty (yes fat is good to a certain point, this was excessive)but still had a good flavour, prawns and scallops were great. The half lobster tasted like scalloped potatoes (again guessing old) so overall not a fan. The wait was super long for a restaurant that wasn’t even full. Will we return probably not, unfortunately.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday at this place. They had a special menu $89 per person for two people. The food was good enough for three people.Appetizers were very small portions but delicious. The main meal was absolutely delicious. The steak was to die for.Unfortunately the service was very poor. Our reservation was at 7pm, we waited over 15minutes for our server to take our drinks order. And then it took over 10 minutes to get our drinks.Didn’t see our server until the food was delivered to our table! Not ok.There were many staff on the floor so we don’t think they were short staffed. But no one on the floor was attentive.If it was not for the kitchen staff and chef, we would consider a much lower tip that we paid over a $480 bill.Overall the food was priced well, $63 for a bottle

Server was pretty nice. Although we only ordered kids meal, appetizer, and beers, our server didn’t pushed us to order more. He didn’t come back lots of time to ask us how’s everything which we really appreciated. We loved our chill family time.The food we had was delicious.

Good restaurant. Big room, many people. It is probably worth booking a table in advance. Tasty food - appetizers, seafood, main courses, desserts. Lots of choices. Good, friendly service.

This seafood restaurant is on Granville Island. They have a good selection of fish and shellfish dishes. We had their Dine-out menu. The maple walnut prawns were crunchy with maple walnut flavor. The poached lobster was perfectly cooked. The seafood bouillabaisse was filled with crab, shrimp, mussels, clams and squid and was very flavorful. The arctic char was moist and perfectly seared. Highly recommended.

Absolutely love everything about The Vancouver Fish Company! Food is incredible, fresh and beautifully presented - highly recommend the maple walnut prawns, oysters and halibut. Great ambiance and top-notch service every time I visit. Hats off to the owner Steve, the kitchen staff and the service staff- they make every visit memorable and fun. A perfect spot for group events, family gatherings or date night.

I recently attended a swank private event here and the restaurant absolutely nailed it. The food was excellent (oysters, great hors d’oeuvres, and standout dishes all night), and the service was truly fantastic- attentive, friendly, and consistent. Open bar and wine tastings ran smoothly, and the signature cocktails were delicious.

You will not be disappointed with this incredible fish restaurant on Granville Island. I attended a private party marking the 5th year of a luxury Travel Agency. The management team did us proud. The evening was a complete success. The variety of canapés offered was delicious. The setting was so beautiful and tastefully decorated.

It was a very pleasant and cozy place. Family friendly, they have a kids menu. Meals are quite big so one portion of chicken wings will be enough for two kids. Now we know why we’d been asked about number of portions for kids )) We ordered tuna poke for husband and scallops for me. All food was so delicious! Enjoyed this place a lot.

Wanted a midday seafood brunch and decided to look for fish & chips and oysters. After looking around and reading reviews we decided upon VFC and especially its beautiful view of the Yacht Basin. The west coast oysters were delicious and the Fish & Chips were outstanding. Made with Halibut they constituted both the best Fish & Chips I have had and the best Halibut I have had.

We started with fresh oysters, a caesar salad and both of us had the Arctic char. The char was cooked medium and it was delicious. Overall a good meal.
