We popped into Lonely Mouth Bar for lunch during the Lilac Festival after two of our friends recommended it, and I'm glad we finally gave it a try!The atmosphere was really nice, and we ended up sitting in their cozy indoor/outdoor sunroom space, which was perfect for a sunny afternoon. Since it was our first visit, our server kindly took the time to walk my partner and me through the menu and answer our questions, which we really appreciated.We shared the Curry Udon and each ordered a Snow Crab Hand Roll. They also had a special menu item that day (I can't remember the name!) that was essentially curly fries covered in a delicious Japanese-style sauce and topped with parmesan. We went for the happy hour and glad that we did, it allowed us to try more items.The standouts were the goma udon and the handrolls. Highly recommend the goma udon, it was a nice balance of nutty, refreshing and savoury. The tenkasu bits added a nice crisp to the dish.I also really liked the shibuya boogie cocktail.The service was good and I would go back for happy hour again and maybe for a regular service to try other items.

Busy Friday night, sat on the patio to watch the people walk by. Our server Hannah, was excellent, answering our questions and suggesting popular dishes and gave great service. We loved the sashimi and housemade soy sauce-and the miso cod was light and flavourful!We moved inside later to listen to a DJ and try some saki with the agadashi tofu-lovely evening.

We celebrated Valentine’s Day here about a month ago and I finally got the chance to write a review. The food was good overall. The ramen was okay, nothing very memorable, but the beef tartare was delicious and definitely the standout dish. Worth trying if you are curious.

We had some Sushi rolls (these were different with the seaweed on the outside of a cylindrical roll. A little messy but delicious) enjoying Miso Cod, Snow Crab and Beef, Mild Buns (light fluffy with a tasty butter), zucchini and squid tempura (lightly battered they way they are supposed to be), turnips (surprisingly delicious), chicken wings (amongst the best we have ever had, anywhere) and sashimi and steak (the steak was a disappointment...not as tender as we would have guessed it to be).

One word: WOW! Thanks to Kira, Reece and Jordan for an amazing dining experience! The saki sampler ($30) was so delicious and educational!

Everything wad delicious and it wasn’t busy at all for lunch. Tried a bit of everything and really enjoyed it. Tuna tartare was absolutely excellent. Waiter was great!
