Really enjoyed this place overall.The food was well prepared and satisfying, especially the Hali cheesesteak and the fish & chips, both done properly with good texture and flavor. The Halifax donair poutine stood out; it was a little on the sweet side, but still very enjoyable.The Aperol Spritz was well balanced and a nice addition to the meal.The service was also really good. Our server was kind, attentive, and helpful throughout.The atmosphere really carries that Halifax vibe, which I appreciated. It adds character and makes the experience feel a bit different from typical spots in Calgary.

Went here on a Friday night, it wasn’t packed but had a fair amount of customers.The service was good she came back and checked on us and kept us top on water and drinks.The food was pretty good I’m originally from the east coast so it’s hard for mainland Calgary restaurants to capture the authentic taste of Atlantic province seafood but I think they did a good job with all factors considered.We had the lobster and artichoke dip which was pretty good, like every lobster dish it could’ve done with just a tad bit more lobsterThen we had two different pizzasFish tacos and friesLobster rolls with upgraded poutineAnd the Irish cheesecakeThe pizzas were pretty good I had no complaints with itTacos were also solidThe fries were good but you 100% need a sauce or something for them but that’s just

What an overall great experience!From the minute we sat down to the time we left , everything was fantastic. Nellie greeted us quickly and her bubbly personality and quick wit had us laughing before drinks hit the table. We started with the Donair Egg Rolls which were a unique twist on 2 classics, We shared the Hot Chicken Sandwich which was packed full of flavour. Nellies service was top notch from start to finish! We will be back!

Nellie was absolutely amazing! She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience so much better. Her recommendations were great, the drinks were made perfectly, and she kept such a welcoming vibe the entire time. You can tell she genuinely cares about customers and enjoys what she does. Definitely one of the best bartenders I’ve had. Will be coming back because of her!
