Chef Andy Sondh is the owner and head chef at Bombay Kitchen and Bar on Denman. He moved from Bahrain to Vancouver in 2018 and began his culinary career as a dishwasher before working as a kitchen helper, then a tandoori chef, and eventually becoming head chef.He grew up learning about cooking from his Punjabi mother, and his kitchen focuses on Indian dishes made with bold spices, fresh ingredients, and a strong emphasis on timing, texture, aroma, and comfort.
