My family and I stayed at Element Hotel during Stampede and had dinner here on Sunday, everything was fantastic! Our server Ruby was incredibly attentive and made our experience even better. The view of the city was beautiful, we loved the Stampede inspired cocktails, and the Tomahawk was perfect for sharing with my family of four. It made for such a fun dinner and was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We'll be back next year!

The restaurant itself is really beautiful and I would recommend it if you’re looking for a place to have drinks with a nice view and ambience. Unfortunately we were quite disappointed with the food. The menu has great variety and options for different diets which is nice, and the presentation is beautiful. However, in terms of the food quality, I’ve had better meals at Boston Pizza. The whipped ricotta was probably the best thing we had but it was very bland and lacking texture. The truffle rigatoni was cooked perfectly but again, extremely bland, and the sauce tasted like it was made of cream and truffle oil with no seasoning. The bison burger was quite flavourful and nice! What a gem of a place! I wasn't too sure how I'd feel about the visit but we were so pleasantly surprised and now it's on our list of favorite restaurants in Calgary.First off, the atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice. The vibe is so relaxing, great design and the tables are spaced a good distance apart so it feels very intimate and private. That's unusual as we are used to going to restaurants where there are not a lot of space in between each table. So this was noticed by us and we were very pleased. The view from the patio was decent, but if you're inside the restaurant then you will end up looking at the buildings more often than not.Second of all, the service was impeccable. My boyfriend and I went here the other night for a delayed Valentine’s Day dinner. The service was amazing great recommendations and good feedback was given on any of the questions that we had. We also had two glasses of Pinot Grigio wine, which paired really well with all of the food that we got. It was a 8 PM reservation and it wasn’t busy for a weekday so it was a perfect ambiance. Not too loud & we could talk comfortably and pacing of our food was great. The only thing that we wish was out there was bigger portion size for the pasta! But outside of that everything else was amazing. Would definitely go back.

This place is absolutely amazing. The service is great, we had Megan as our server and she was just awesome. We never felt like she was too much or too little, super receptive and just overall a very sweet and very friendly server! The food was divine, with pretty competitive prices for fine dining, they really hit it out of the park. I had the Bison burger and my partner had the fish and chips and we both couldn't finish. We split a French onion soup to start and every single bite of each meal was delicious. Such a great experience - wish we could have been on the patio - mother nature did not cooperate. Bao buns were fabulous and the rib eye steak was one of the best I have had. It is definitely a dish to share - we could have easily shared it with a third person.

We had a fantastic experience at Bow and Bend. Victoria - the Maître D- was instrumental in making sure that we got an outdoor table for our party of 8. She made sure that everything was perfect for our 2 birthday girls! We got there at 6pm and we were still there at 9:00 to experience the evening vibe.
