I originally had plans to dine at a different restaurant, but when my daughter fell asleep in her stroller, I needed a place that was easy to access without disturbing her. Walking into Lift turned out to be one of the best surprises of our trip.From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and attentive service, the stunning waterfront views, and, of course, the food. Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious. The wonderful server who looked after us somehow made the entire experience even more enjoyable.Great food, beautiful scenery, and exceptional hospitality. I would happily recommend Lift to anyone visiting Vancouver

I used to come here all the time so I wanted to stop and catch some patio time. Lift still has amazing views of the ocean and marina. I really enjoy watching all the dragon boater peeps and sometimes you see a seal. I visited for happy hour solo today and I have to say the service was on the slow side. Not sure if they were understaffed, but it definitely took longer than I was expecting. My food was was just okay. Happy hour single piece fish and chips for $23. Portion seemed small to me. The coleslaw was very bland, fries were pretty good, fish was okay. Cooked well, but just didn't really have much flavor. I'm not sure if this was the batter or what. I would still come for the views, but I feel the food has gone downhill.

I’ve visited Lift Bar and Grill twice. The first time was on a summer day in 2024, when we stopped by for cocktails and enjoyed the ocean view — we left satisfied with the experience. My second visit was during Vancouver’s annual Dine Out event in the winter of 2025.We started with an octopus appetizer, which was quite good. For the main course, braised beef ribs were served; the meat was very tender and flavorful. I don’t recall the dessert at the moment, but the cocktail I had was also decent. Service was fast and attentive, and the atmosphere — along with the view — was very pleasant overall.

Today I came here for some snacks and drinks. The atmosphere was lovely, the view was beautiful, and they have a patio where you can bring your dog to sit and enjoy the food with you, which I really appreciated. Overall, everything was great except for the receptionist (the white girl). She gave me an unwelcoming attitude, had no friendliness or hospitality.On the other hand, the other staff members were very kind — they even brought treats for my dog.The receptionist’s attitude and behavior seriously need improvement.

This is the first place we tried after arriving at our hotel. This place is accessible from the Westin Bayshore property as well as the main pathways. Beautiful views from your window side seats of the bay. I had the scallops and pork belly for appetizer and the prawn and salmon tagliatelle. Both were amazing. My son had the fish and chips, they were huge. I also decided to try mocktail, the sanshattan. Very good and the imitation burn of non alcoholic whiskey was surprising. Great service, felt very relaxed and not rushed at all.

LIFT is the perfect place to be on a pleasant summer evening! Right on the water, we were able to see the sun go down over Stanley Park and the marina, watch seals swimming by and herons flying above, all from our table on the deck. The service was exceedingly kind, attentive, friendly and helpful.

I ordered the Halibut Ceviche as an appetizer and the Prawn Tagliatelle as my main dish. The Halibut Ceviche was fresh and light. The Avocado Mango Salsa and Lime Juice gave it a refreshing taste. This dish makes a great summer Appetizer. The Prawn Tagliatelle was surprisingly good.

The bar staff totally made up for it though — cute, young, friendly, and exactly the kind of energy you want sitting at a bar top. Super welcoming and attentive without being over the top. And the burger? Actually so good. Juicy, full of flavour, perfectly melty cheese, and the cutest crisp pickle sitting on top like a little hat.

Excellent views of the harbour. Great ambience and very tasty halibut and fries. We ate upstairs in the shade under an umbrella. Built out over the water in Vancouver's Coal Harbour, the views out the floor to ceiling windows are spectacular from virtually every seat in the house.

Cassandra suggested every dish I had today, and each one was exquisite. I started with a crispy fish appetizer, beautifully presented on perfectly toasted bread. For the main course, I was treated to an exclusive halibut dish that isn’t even on the menu yet.

We sat at the bar and began enjoying a world class view and excellent service. This restaurant is situated in downtown Vancouver in the Harbour by a marina and has lots of tables with great views.
