Overall this place was really nice, the service was was amazing and I didn’t expect the place to be soo pretty and cozy. They have a variety of options to order and the desserts were really good.For the food to be honest not my type. I feel I like my Mexican food with more flavour and this one just didn’t hit the spot. But I feel this is personal. The presentation of the plates was really nice and it’s definitely worth a try!

Always a pleasure to come eat here! The atmosphere feels very welcoming and family oriented, and the food is excellent with 100% authentic Mexican flavour. I can honestly say it’s the best Mexican restaurant in the city.My favorite dish is definitely the pozole.My server, Erika, was very friendly and attentive, always making sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Highly recommended! 🌮🇲🇽

We had such a great time at Barria Cantina! The atmosphere is fun, bright, and full of good energy. The food is absolutely delicious — well balanced, flavorful, and so satisfying.A huge shoutout to our server, Daniela. She was incredibly accommodating, quick, and attentive the whole time. Her recommendations were spot on, and she always made sure our orders were perfect. Her service really elevated our experience.We also loved the Mexican singers in the background — it added so much life and made the whole dining experience even more fun while enjoying the food.It’s incredibly worth it, and we’ll definitely be visiting again!

Birria Cantina has helped me not miss Mexican food while living in Calgary. Every dish is delicious and has that homemade flavor that reminds me of family and home. My compliments to the chef for creating such authentic and comforting meals.The service is always outstanding everything is served quickly, and the staff is attentive and friendly. The salsas are delicious, and they are very generous with the lime, which I really appreciate. This time, our server Erika took care of us, and she made the experience especially enjoyable with her excellent service and warm attitude.

Highly recommend. Very luxurious feel to the restaurant as well as the service. They offered churros on the house as well which were absolutely delicious. Served with Nutella, raspberry sauce and condensed milk. They’re not cheap with their portions either! The nachos is basically a nacho tower. The food was delicious. It was missing some salt but that’s always fixable as long as you order salt! I’d give the food 9/10 in authenticity but 10/10 in flavour.
