We had an incredible breakfast at Blue Star Diner. Visited this diner on a weekend after seeing Murdoch Park. The staff is incredible. Food is just the best. We tried many dishes like Eggs benefict, Fried Chicken and Pancakes, Huevos Rancheros and Milkshakes. They were incredible and huge portions for the price.

I got the triple double and loved it. No bookings on weekends but there’s an online waitlist that you can sign up for. Wait time is usually around 30-40 mins but totally worth it.

Since my wife became celiac she’s been looking for gluten free restaurants, she told me about Blue Star diner before but for a person who can eat gluten free I really didn’t care about eating food that’s not gluten free. I wish we tried this place long time ago, the food is top notch, 90 % of the food is gf

Very friendly service, delicious food, great coffee. The kids meal chicken tenders were amazing! Very glad our family stopped by for lunch.

After having over 30 different eggs Benedict's from various restaurants....Blue Star Diner still has the top eggs Benedict out there. We live out of town and each time we return to Calgary go here.

The price of her meal reflected the smaller portion and that surprised and pleased me food was great, no issues with anything we had and the serving size was almost too much. That is not a complaint Other than the great food, what we will remember most of all is the staff.

This diner is lovely and caters for gluten allergy. There were a lot of choices available including gf bread and corn bread. The home made cherry cinnamon jam was delicious.

Highlight of our Calgary trip. Skip the boring hotel breakfast buffet and head straight to BlueStar for an authentic local experience. Great tales on various high end breakfast options. Great music and service. Funky vibe.
