Great Taste is one of those rare places that quietly becomes part of your life before you even realize it. My friend and I come here constantly and I’m genuinely not exaggerating when I say there have been months where we’ve eaten here six days a week only because they’re closed on Tuesdays.The food is unreal. This is my FAVOURITE spot. The soup dumplings, the cucumber salad (to die for), wontons in spicy sauce, hot pot ribs and chowmein (with Canadian broccoli) are all amazing and SO many more items. Not only is the food so good, the staff are amazing. Remember you, your name, and your order. Or maybe this is because I go so frequently because it’s SO good. See you soon!

I know this is literally sacrilege but I ordered from Great Taste Chinese via Uber due to the glowing reviews.I live in the deep south, so the fact the food was still hot was quite shocking. I even apologized to the Uber driver for the making him drive so far.Summary, worth every penny and every minute waiting. Hands down the best authentic Chinese food in Calgary, no argument to be had!!My favourite out of everything, Shanghai noodle with chicken! Don’t get me wrong, the salt and pepper chicken and sweet and sour pork were also very good.I even tried the roasted pepper with preserved egg, an incredible deep pepper and almost floral flavour that was unforgettable.The menu spans many food elements and flavour/texture profiles that should be experienced by the true foodie!I truly look forwar

Ginger beef is a must get! Crispy deliciousSalted egg york tofu is a 4/10 only having salted egg York favour, no taste of salt and pepper or any other flavour.Pork belly taste like frozen/ made by others 5/10The mushrooms beancurd we got gone bad so we didn’t eat it and they kindly refund it

Our family has spent some time in China. We were quite impressed with the authenticity of the food. We enjoyed the dumplings, Beijing pork, and eggplant.

This restaurant has amazing authentic Hong Kong style food but the xiao long bao are the best! Absolutely mouth watering, and so flavourful!

The food here is good and consistent and if ordering for delivery the boxes are well packed. Recently I ordered beef with green beans and braised pork belly (highly recommend!).

Great Taste has the best XLB and Mapo Tofu in town. I've tried all of the mapo tofu I can find in Calgary, and Ive settled on Great Taste as the best.

Went for scallion pancakes and dumplings. The pancakes were just right with a great dipping sauce and all the dumplings I tried were fantastic.

This restaurant is a real chinese one with real chinese food. We really appreciate the Jasmin hot tea ! You should try as well ! The service is good, the waitresses are welcoming and professional.

Most noteworthy was the Steamed Chicken dish that we had. The chicken was so tender and juicy, and the sauce wasn't too spicy either.
