Our story
At Tres Marias Mexican Food Market, we were founded in 2004 by Alejandro and Aurora, who came from Mexico with a mission to bring authentic Mexican food to Calgary. Authentic Mexican cuisine is an art that involves time, tradition, and natural ingredients, and we carry that approach through our products and prepared meals.We make our meals with local organic and natural ingredients and offer oven-fresh authentic tortillas, signature salsas, and meals to go. We source locally and organically grown foods and focus on products free of preservatives and additives, inviting our customers to experience traditional homemade cooking that is fresh, healthy, and nutritious.

Julia mI had the breakfast burrito. The food had good flavour. It was a little bit cold and I think it was previously frozen. I’m sure the tacos are delicious and other items on the menu. Peaceful environment and the take away items looked delicious.

LisaI had the tostados. You get 2 and they were very good tasting, good portions as well. My husband had the bison burrito and he really enjoyed it as well, good flavour. We will definitely be back. Parking is available directly in front of the store.

Excellent, authentic, & delicious Mexican food! Ordered two party trays & tamales. Everything was great! Everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was helpful & friendly. I would absolutely eat here again & recommend this place to others.
Nice shop to purchase some authentic Mexican condiments. Another reason to visit Marda Loop. They carry Mexican Chocolate and have prepared salsas and other favourites.
This is one of my favourite neighbourhood shops/restaurants. Great selection of yummy fresh & frozen Mexican foods (plus foods from other local providers). I always pick up the homemade tortilla chips & fresh salsas. They have expanded the seating area since I lasted visited Calgary & the tortilla soup and tostadas are as great as I remember.
I live nearby so I often stop by to get some ready to go food like soups and enchiladas. The food is always fresh and hosts are really nice! Here is a compact, family-friendly neighbourhood spot with great take-home options.
