This place is super welcoming right off the hop, the menu has a lot of options and they were delicious! I had the panzerroti (my first) and it was incredible. So good! My wife had the Mama's meat loaf, also good! The huge cookie we shared was really good too!

The service is always excellent. This time they went above and beyond though, offering me a sample of their fresh marinara sauce to take home to try to recreate their restaurant’s subs. Highly recommend checking them out.

Best Italian style deli in the city, and probably fair to say that it is an institution in Calgary! Sandwiches are delicious and loaded with meat, fresh cuts. It's not "cheap" compared to other sub chains in the city, however considering the size of the portions and the quality of the food, Spolumbo's is really an excellent bang for the buck.

Neighbourhood bakery/ homemade food restaurant Traditional style entrees. Fast service. Check out the daily specials. Sandwiches are Huge. Take home bags are available (you’ll need em). The place gives back to the local community with sports sponsorships.

The location and dining local doesn’t get any better than this! The sausages, lasagna and sandwiches are fantastic here. Staff are prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. Sandwiches come with the most delicious pickles and a little yummy doughnut. The dining area is clean and spacious.

We often drive there for sandwiches. They are big. They are tasty. And they are fresh. The cold cuts are unbeatable. We also always buy some cold cut sandwiches for later or the next day. And some sausages to cook ourselves. Sausages are the best anywhere. Friendly staff. Free parking right next. And still open for takeout. Great small Calgary business.

Spolumbo's is a Calgary favourite and I was familiar with some of their food from trying it at catered events and such, but this was the first time I went to dine in. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the prices are very reasonable especially for the portions they provide. I tried a Calabrese salami sandwich and it was excellent, not to mention the wide selection of San Pellegrino cans which are a must.

Stopped into this gem with my father-in-law. He has been trying to visit for years. He LOVED his sausage on a bun and my Americano was delicious. The server was exceptionally friendly, enough so that I would return just because of that!
