We are a Vietnamese restaurant in downtown Calgary at Bow Valley Square, serving a focused menu built around Vietnamese beef stew and our Vô Special Dill Soup rather than pho. Helia🍜 Everything we ordered was delicious and full of flavor. The soups were especially rich and comforting, and the beef/chicken dishes were really tasty as well.🍚 The rice was a little cold when served, but the rest of the food was very good and enjoyable overall.🙃 The service felt a bit unwelcoming at times, but the food itself definitely made up for it.
Monserrat MineroI order the sate soup (14 in the menu) and it was delicious! It was spicy but enough to eat it comfortably.. the portion is also good!I would say that I could return to lunch there more often.
dennis nguyenAs a Vietnamese person, the Rice Vermicelli is very lacking. I tastes ok because the pork is flavourful but besides the bean sprouts and 3 shreds of lettuce, that’s all that was in there. No carrot, cucumber either. Lettuce isn’t even expensive!
Frank MaThe service is absolutely horrible. After taking our order our server disappeared and we couldn’t get anyone to help us make a change to our order. We have to stand up to get their attention which we got ordered to sit back down at our table.I’m not normally someone to write negative reviews, but I would like to share our experience today. After finally getting someone to change our order to take out due to how long we were waiting, they brought us the wrong order. We brought this up with them and they rudely told us they wouldn’t serve us again. Honestly we were a bit anxious due to the time but they should not have treated us in such manner.Would not recommend.
dirttvGreat food very tasty. Did the take out. The only negative is when you order take out you pay first. The machine asks you for a tip. I never tip before tasting and looking at my order. Being a first timer how do you know if the food is any good? If I owned the place I would review the tipping procedure.
