First and foremost the room at The Lodge is brilliant. The ceilings and windows are large and high but the decide (a ski lodge feel) makes it feel cozy. One of my favourite things is that the room is spacious. The tables don't feel like they are on top of each other and the room doesn't feel too loud.

The waitress wanted to be a sommelier and it showed: she picked us a great bottle of wine, then matched a cocktail to my taste when I switched. Sofas and proper chairs, warm lighting, music plays but not loud.

When the kitchen discovered the birthday cake we brought in was damaged in transport (unbeknownst to us), the chef didn’t skip a beat and went above and beyond to reconstruct it so that the birthday guy wouldn’t know the difference and carefully packaged it up when we had to leave for our next stop.

The environment was surprising, felt like we were in the mountains while still being in the city. Our server Jay was really nice and great to have a chat with. Answered all our questions and gave great tips on the meal suggestions. The food was delicious with the duck drumettes being our favourite.

Amazing experience, the vibe and decor is on point! I had the rib dinner and honestly it was some of the best ribs I’ve ever had!

This is a pleasant place with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is always tasty and fresh. We visit often since it’s close to our home, and we have never been disappointed!

Salmon dish was incredible.
