I had a great experience at La Boulangerie. The food and pastries were excellent—everything tasted fresh and well-made. The only downside was that the kitchen hood didn’t seem to work well, so the smell of food in the dining area was quite strong. Overall, still a lovely spot with high-quality offerings!

We visited a small French bakery in Calgary and it was such a delightful experience! 🥐✨We tried the apricot tart, pear & almond tart, croque-monsieur, and a chocolate croissant — everything was absolutely delicious, authentic, and full of flavor.The bakery itself is cozy and charming, filled with the wonderful aroma of fresh pastries and offering a wide selection of classic French desserts. The young lady who served us was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive.I would definitely love to come back again!

I had such a lovely experience at La Boulangerie with my family. We came in with our toddler and asked if they could make cheesy scrambled eggs, even though it wasn’t on the menu, and they were so kind and accommodating. Our son absolutely loved them, which made the visit even more special.The ham and cheese croissants were so good, perfectly flaky and flavorful. We also tried a blueberry vanilla pastry that was delicious.The space is simple, but it really gives you that authentic French bakery feel, like stepping into a local spot in France. They also have outdoor seating, and we’re looking forward to coming back in warmer weather to enjoy sitting outside. Highly recommend!

This place is incredibly overpriced. We ordered two baguettes and two orange juice. It was $50 and the portions are VERY small. The baguettes were cold, the bread was hard to chew and no sauce. In another place this would be less than $30 for two people. I will never come back. I felt exploited.

Love La Boulangerie, I have been several times when I was living in Calgary and always had great food and service but I need to pass on the incredible customer service experience I had there last weekend. My mother in law loves their pastries (especially the almond brioche!) and my husband and I planned to have a box delivered to her house for breakfast Mother’s Day morning as we have done in the past for birthdays and special occasions. We live in Winnipeg and were up an hour earlier waiting for La Boulangerie to show up on DoorDash, Skip the Dishes, or UberEats before all of the almond brioche were sold out. We regularly go to La Boulangerie in Calgary for crepes and coffee, and both stay consistently delicious every time. The food tastes fresh, the coffee comes out smooth, and the quality never drops between visits.
