This is a highly regarded Korean fried chicken spot that once boasted line ups out the door - to be fair, it’s still super busy and yes, you can make a reservation with donation.We came at 9pm for a really late dinner and it was still completely packed, only a few people in line.Food wise, it’s pretty solid. I would say it does live up to the hype. Is it worth waiting for? Probably not, but it’s pretty good. They also serve beer and soju if you’re interested in that.

They actually pull off Korean style chicken really well. It was my first time here, and the chicken was just as good as I’d heard — absolutely delicious. They also offer a great variety of Korean dishes, so I’ll definitely be coming back.

Mumu Chicken used to serve the best Korean fried chicken in Vancouver, but now it honestly feels like one of the worst.We ordered through Uber Eats for the first time in a long while and paid $38/net, which made the experience even more disappointing. We ordered the pa-dak (green onion chicken).To be fair, I even took one piece apart to compare. As shown in the photo, there’s only a small strip of actual chicken on the left side. The rest of the piece is almost entirely thick, heavy batter. The chicken itself was sliced extremely thin—almost paper-thin—and the soft, juicy texture that boneless chicken used to have was completely gone. They specialize in Korean Fried Chicken in a variety of flavors. But they also have other casual contemporary Korean street/bar food favorites like Ttukbokki, Kimchi fried rice with cheese, and a variety of pajeon (Korean savory pancakes).
