We went there for my friend's bday. The food was amazing. We ordered creamy potatoes, Brussels, and gnocchi to share and couldn't decide which one we liked most cuz they were all soooo good and creative.Our server, Sara, was very kind and caring. She also gave great advice on both food and wine based on our taste and offered tastets too. I liked that the rest of staff were also attentive to our table and did not have "this is not my table" attitude. We had to ask for minor items like water a couple of times, but I think they probably were taking a break. We ordered chocolate tiramisu with candied nuts that came in semi deconstructed (just on the garnish part) and was absolutely gorgeous and delicious. Overall, 4.5 stars!Salt and Brick has one of the loveliest atmospheres and interiors I have experienced in a restaurant. The space is comfortable, we were seated right away, and the service was strong throughout the meal. The menu offers a good variety and changes with seasonal availability, which is always appreciated.The standouts were the squid tempura and the miso-grilled sablefish. The squid was perfectly tender, with a light, crisp tempura that was not overly greasy. The miso sablefish was a true chef’s kiss. Amazing service especially on a busy saturday night with a larger party. So great with allergies as well.. they went above and beyond and even plated some of the ribeye seperate.Food was amazing. Really enjoyed the steak tartar and sushi platter.. get the buns too. However the plates were smaller then expected and a bit expensive.. maybe better for a date night then a large party.

My friend managed to snag a reservation for the Renegade Burger popup at Salt & Brick, and it was an absolute masterclass in flavor. The combination of the aged beef patties with fresh shaved truffle and creamy taleggio was deliciously earthy, rich, and perfectly balanced with the bite of the arugula.​We also tried the handmade chicken nuggets with caviar-topped sour cream and onion dip as well as the beef tallow potato tots. The nuggets felt like a luxury upgrade to a childhood favourite, and the tots were perfectly crispy. To top it off, the staff was incredibly attentive and super friendly throughout the night. Can't wait to go back and try out their regular menu.

My First time there. It was absolutely amazing! The food, the service, the decor, everything! Having Chef come and intrude himself was a privilege and the wine pairing with our food was excellent! Being a culinary student and sitting at the kitchen bar watching the chefs do their magic was such an experience! I will definitely be back.Thanks again!

Having Chef come and intrude himself was a privilege and the wine pairing with our food was excellent!

The atmosphere is great! Nice and relaxed and could easily see meeting a large group of friends here to just chill or sit down and have a more formalized dinner if you wanted.

From the moment we walked in, it felt like we’d stepped out of Calgary and into a chic spot in New York or London — cosmopolitan, warm, and buzzing with energy. The service was outstanding.
