Our story
At The Blues Can, we bring together live music, Southwestern food, drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere in Calgary. Our venue is designed with sound in mind, giving guests a place to enjoy daily performances, local and touring musicians, and regular jams throughout the week. We are located in Capital Hill at the Trans-Canada Highway and 16th Avenue NW, with underground parking and additional nearby parking.

Stephen KingOne of the best rooms in the city to see and hear a band. Always good sound, and the room is set up nicely for watching, chatting and dancing. As an artist that's played there, it's a great venue to play for all those reasons. Plus it's filled with people who love music. What more can you ask for?

Ryan CloutierIt was so busy we couldn't even get a seat to watch the band. Which was fine. They have a lounge with a pool table on the other side. Played some pool. Watched the hockey game and ate some Cajun food.I will definitely come earlier next time.

In what appears to be an old airplane hangar along the 9th Avenue strip in Inglewood lives some of the best Calgary blues served up raw and real! The patrons are as colourful and diverse as Inglewood itself, all brought together through the same language — The Blues.
