This is a lovely little spot — drove right by without seeing it. It is tiny; there are only 8 tables. Great authentic French cuisine without any pretension. Food was delicious with good sized portions. The service was very attentive. Highly recommended.

Perfect! No notes. Food is fantastic. Service is fantastic. Staff love their job. The cassoulet is chefs kiss - come hungry! The crème brûlée was dressed in refreshing mint. The baguette and oil dips have a unique flavour together as though they were perfectly engineered for flavour. I dined solo, took my time and enjoyed my meal. Needless to say, I will return.

My preferred French restaurant (#1).I'm from France, BTW. The most delicious Fois Gras (among other dishes)!!!!

Fleur de Sel is a great restaurant for fine dining. The atmosphere, service and selection of dishes is fantastic. Great meat and fish dinners are served in a true French atmosphere. One can also order French specialty foods. And, if you go solo, I suggest sit at the counter near the kitchen. Nine out of ten times you meat new friends.

We needed to find some takeout in downtown Calgary during the current coronavirus pandemic, and heard that one of our favorite restaurants, Fleur de Sel, was continuing to offer their regular menu as evening takeout. We had the soupe de poissons, a three grain salad, and the Alsatian choucroute, all served with a very good baguette, and they were delightful. If you need a lift during these difficult times, and enjoy traditional French food, we highly recommend their takeout.

In my view, the best restaurant in Calgary for a couple or a small group. Intimate, superb food. Cassoulet is a specialty. On any given night, you can spot a Premier, a British lord and lady, or someone arriving in a Rolls. Very loyal clientele.

I recently dined at Fleur de Sel Brasserie in Calgary and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional quality of the food. The menu offers a delightful array of French cuisine, with dishes like ribeye, mussels, and rack of lamb standing out for their impeccable preparation and flavor. The ambiance is reminiscent of a quaint French bistro, providing a cozy and authentic dining experience.
