We finally made it to Mille and it did not disappoint. We started with warm olives and the calamari dish. Probably the best calamari I have had in a very long time. The short rib was fantastic. We immediately knew why it is their #1 dish. The lemon pasta was fresh and just the right amount of flavour. We topped off our dinner with an espresso and the YYC hot chocolate. 10/10 for presentation and flavour. I can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the beautiful patio. My husband's only complaint was the background music didn't fit the ambiance.

Mille is the kind of place you go once for brunch and find yourself back again a couple of weeks later with a different friend or a bigger group.The space is bright, modern, and thoughtfully laid out in a way that feels elevated without losing its comfort. Even though it’s new, everything from the design to the flow of the room already feels intentional and well considered. I managed to snag free street parking, but there’s also a free underground parkade, a rare bonus for downtown, along with the ability to make brunch reservations, which is just as rare.I had fresh orange juice, a cappuccino, and the avocado toast with a fried egg. We had a wonderful experience dining at Mille Restaurant & Cafe. We ordered Calamari & Patate, Scottadito - Lamb Lollipops and Gnocchi con Salsiccia. The food tasted delicious and flavourful. Thanks to our wonderful server Harvey for the food recommendations. We also enjoyed the Pineapple Cucumber Nojito mocktail… delicious and very refreshing. The restaurant look fancy with a nice and relaxing ambiance… love the beautiful chandeliers and decors. Excellent food and fantastic service!

Absolutely wonderful dinner this evening.The restaurant was beautifully appointed, the staff attentive and so professional! The food was excellent, wonderfully thoughtful and presented.The waiter was attentive and resourceful with suggestions and honesty, I could swear he was a mind reader. Jenna, WOW, you have multiplied the quality of your previous restaurant, Sauce, by many many fold !!! What a treat to tell my friends, they absolutely MUST treat themselves to visit MILLE! Well Done !!!!

Mille is such a great addition to Calgary’s restaurant scene. I’ve had the chance to check it out a couple times since they opened and it’s quickly become one of those spots that’s easy to come back to.The space is very comfortable inside, the drinks are consistently good, and the overall atmosphere makes it a great place to either catch up over cocktails or sit down for a really nice meal.Their patio is also lovely and has exceptionally comfortable seating, which honestly feels rare in Calgary. You can tell a lot of thought went into making the experience feel relaxed and inviting.

We have been to the owners previous restaurant called sauce on 17th Ave. So we knew this experience would be great…. It was above and beyond. Well, worth a visit with a beautiful patio and delicious food.

Went to Mille Restaurant for our Anniversary. The food was amazing the service was excellent. The restaurant interior is beautiful, reminded us of a restaurant in Paris we were at. We will be back again. Hoping to go on a Tuesday, as one of the bartenders plays the piano and sings with one of the waitresses joins. Sign up for Mille Restaurant email. It is well worth it.

Welcoming staff and an overall great experience. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I've dined here a few times and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!
