Our story
Since 1983, we have served authentic Greek food in Calgary, beginning at our original location on 14th Street and 11th Avenue SW before moving to our current home in southwest Calgary. We prepare traditional Greek recipes from scratch and source Greek staples such as olives, feta, tahini, phyllo pastry, and kefalograviera from Kalamata Greek Grocers.Our menu brings together Greek classics including moussaka, kleftiko, and giovetsi, along with shareable tapas, homemade dips, and Greek-style specialties. We welcome guests into a cozy, Greek-inspired dining room where traditional flavours and a relaxed atmosphere are central to the experience.

Caitlin BangsundThis was a very disappointing $100 spent. The chicken souvlaki didn’t even look like chicken. We opened the lid and immediately closed it. After that we could not enjoy the rest of the meal. The presentation was terrible - sauce just thrown in beside the dolmadas - not in a container. We can’t even keep the food for someone else to try.

Saimina LadhaWent there for my birthday dinner. Portions were small compared to Greek restaurants we’ve been to in the past. We all had beef souvlaki and it was just okay. Nothing great. My kids added a comment on the reservation that it was my birthday and after our meal the owner came to talk to us and asked if we were celebrating anything. Told him again and all he did was wish me. Every other restaurant for a birthday dinner, staff have sang and brought a dessert. Not a restaurant I would go again.

We celebrated a milestone birthday here in Dec with about 10 or12 people. My wife preordered the menu for everyone and she got permission to bring a birthday cake with her. The food and the service were amazing, everything was perfect. Our server went above and beyond all evening.

Pegasus is our absolute favorite Greek restaurant in Calgary. Crazy that this list puts it in 11th place, behind a fast food joint!! Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff and owner, excellent authentic Greek meals.

This is a little "hole in the wall" restaurant in a small strip mall. We went there for a wind up Christmas party. The atmosphere was very welcoming. We could mingle before the meal. All the food was delicious with specialty Greek appetizers, entrees and desserts.

Loved the food and environment authentic. The food was hot and full of flavour. They had a wide variety of food to choose from and the appetizers were plentiful. The portions were great and we all went away satisfied with our meals. The server was pleasant and courteous.

The food was perfect - saganaki, dips, calamari, spanakopita appies were perfect with great tzatziki. The meal platter to share was excellent - each of the meats done perfectly, the potatoes were excellent. The desserts were fantastic. We love the bougatsa! And the server was gracious and kind.
