Honestly, this is one of my favourite places not just in First Street market, but on my list of top 5 favourite places to get something great to eat on 1st Street downtown itself. The food is solid and consistent, with just the right number of options to keep you dancing around the menu, but not so much that you get overwhelmed. I've brought many friends and family here and have had no bad reviews from my recommendation. Give this place a shot and enjoy your food hot. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I absolutely love this place! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The kathi rolls are my favorite super juicy and wrapped in a crispy, delicious paratha. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is warm, and everything is consistently great. Definitely one of the best places 😋

If you are craving for a Mumbai style Pav bhaji then you have found a mist have in Calgary Downtown food place.The star of the dish was the Mumbai style Laadi Pav it was amazing reminded me of Local street Pav bhaji flavours.Samosa chaat is also a must try for chaat lovers

The Hakka noodles were perfectly cooked — flavorful, well-seasoned, and loaded with fresh veggies. The balance of spice was just right, not overpowering but packed with authentic Indo-Chinese taste.The Chole Bhature was outstanding. The bhature were soft, fluffy, and not overly greasy, while the chole had a rich, deep flavor with the perfect blend of spices. Comfort food done right!The Goan prawn curry thali was the highlight for me. The curry had that beautiful coastal aroma with coconut and spices coming through perfectly. The thali was generous, well-presented, and gave a great variety of flavors in one meal.Overall, delicious food, generous portions, and authentic flavors. Definitely coming back!

To my Calgary foodies, authentic indian food lovers… this is it, the best place in the city. Saffron Street is a passion project from one of the head chefs/owner Jesse Mann at Moti Mahal and the passion really comes through in the food 🤤
