The prices at this place go crazy and the food is really good too. I got the Sate Beef Rice Noodle Soup and it was delicious! I usually get takeout because there's not much seating but this time we sat down. There's a kiosk now which is nice to see all the menu items. The only con would be that warm meals are served in the plastic takeout ones, including utensils, so you get a lovely dose of microplastics.

The bread of the sub was soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, and the beef was plentiful and flavourfulThe rice dish was good, but the meat was a tad bit on the dry side. Overall, it was still good and balancedWould definitely come back if I'm in the mood for Asian food and on a budget

Really wonderful place. You order via screen so the employees can worry about cooking (you can still talk to them if you have dietary restrictions or issues so they dont ignore you or anything). Excellent food at an insanely good value, the pictured meal was $8.50 and so huge i couldn't finish it in one sitting. Its a little small space wise so I reccomend getting take out and service was a little slow but it was pretty busy at the time so im not sure if thats standard wait times. With food this good though, I cant complain.

What a hidden gem.Absolutely looking to come back here again. The food was phenomenal tasting, came out nice and hot and the price is perfect. Really good authentic subs.I’d highly recommend for lunch or dinner if you are around. This only cost me 13$!

This spot has come in clutch when I needed it, even at the last second at times which I'm super grateful for.John, the man behind the magic is a stellar individual. I don't know anyone who can remember as much as he does about his customers and he gets TONS. It's honestly super impressive.I'm 5+ years Vegan now, and even though I can't have much of the menu anymore, the tofu options here are amazing enough to keep me as a regular; especially when you consider the quality, quantity, and price. Many other places that would serve the options I can have here now would charge 20-50, and sometimes 100% more. The Vegan tax is real, but not here. I love this place! I've been going there for years specifically for their pork spring rolls and the best wor wonton in the city! The family there is so great! They always go above and beyond, which is evidenced by the line ups at lunchtime. Highly recommend them! 5 stars from me!

This is my go-to spot for affordable takeout in the city, a rarity nowadays with rising prices elsewhere. The service is incredibly friendly. The black pepper tofu sub is my favourite (though I order it without carrots as they taste odd to me).
