We went to Oxbow for Mother’s Day afternoon tea. Overall, the food was just okay, nothing really stood out in terms of the flavour profile. I think their food is not very sophisticated, quite simple flavours, and just tastes like things you can get at a coffee shop.I was surprised to see the tower be overloaded with food, it would have been much better experience if the savoury was served separate to the sweets.For a while (around 30 mins), no servers were around for us to get the bill so that wasn’t that great either. It was a good experience but I likely won’t go back.

The service was impeccable, with staff patiently explaining the menu and attentively listening to customer preferences. The Oxbow oysters were absolutely stunning as soon as they arrived—perfectly chilled, plump, and tender with a springy texture. One bite and their fresh sweetness rushed straight to the senses! Paired with the house-made dipping sauce, tangy and spicy, it awakened the appetite and exploded with layers of flavor. The duck breast was cooked just right—tender and free of any gaminess. The hen was also perfectly prepared, juicy and not the least bit dry. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.

Too bad Google reviews can only go up to 5 stars because I would rate this restaurant 10 stars if I could. Our experience here went far beyond our expectations!!The staff provided the best service despite a busy Saturday night. The host was very charming and sweet, her smile could light up the whole room. Our server was very attentive and made sure our table was always ready for each course.We ordered lots of appetizers and entrees for our table to share and all I can say is everything was a hit! Every dish was bursting with flavour from different cuisines. The Brussels sprout Caesar was absolutely delicious, the sauce from the Hamachi Crudo really complemented the fish. We went for the YYC Experience Pop-up that has Yellow Door Bistro and Oxbow working together.Firstly, the food and wine pairings were quite good. The hamachi crudo and agnolotti were the standout for me, and my fiancé loved the fennel sausage and pommes aligot.The service and lack of organization is what brought this rating down so hard. Our server barely knew the type of wine pairing he was serving to us, despite us asking for details. Every course we were told if it was "bubbles, cider, or a mixed red." The wine pairings came out first and the last three courses took about 20 minutes each to reach our table after we'd already received the small glass of wine. I rented out the space for my daughter’s tea party bridal shower. The atmosphere was perfect, the table settings were beautiful and the food was fabulous. Corey and his team were excellent from start to finish providing outstanding service. The day went smoothly and I highly recommend it for a unique experience. Thank you again.

Cory was once again (he has served me many times), knowledgeable, professional, chatty but not overly so making this experience a lovely oasis on a busy Saturday. The outdoor patio was lovely and the food exceptional. I am a fan.

Oxbow was a delight, as always. It is hands down the best value you can get for high end food. The dishes are impeccably composed and delicious. The space is gorgeous, service excellent and prices affordable. Pro-tip - try out their happy hour!

We had the best brunch experience!! We came for my birthday and Erikka and staff made the experience so special! Every item was incredibly flavourful (I dream about the devilled eggs) and the teas are delicious.

Wonderful experience, fabulous food, the salmon was delicious and exceptional service! We sat on the patio and had a dog with us and had an amazing dinner. The servers were amazing with our dog and we had a lovely evening.

I wish we hadn’t waited so long to try this restaurant, it was the perfect place to spend an anniversary. We had the 5-course tasting menu with wine pairings, and everything was delicious. The staff was attentive, and the chef came out to discuss the meal with us.
